261 All That Remains

Seriously, this low? The only reason must be that there ain't many that have heard about them, if you haven't you should listen to at least one of their songs for example: the waiting one is Awesome.

these guys are awesome from great singer to awesome solos

These guys are on the list twice

262 Live Live Live is an American rock band from York, Pennsylvania, composed of Chad Taylor, Patrick Dahlheimer, Chad Gracey, and Chris Shinn. Live's original lead singer Ed Kowalczyk left the band in November 2009.

The hardest working band out there today.

This is rob zombie you nimrods. How did you guys miss this one.

264 Venom Venom Venom are an English extreme metal band formed in 1979 in Newcastle upon Tyne. Coming to prominence towards the end of the new wave of British heavy metal, Venom's first two albums—Welcome to Hell and Black Metal—are considered a major influence on thrash metal and extreme metal in general.

Why the heck is Venom is this place, they should be in top 100 for sure. Anyone who doesn't know this band should hear their album Metal Black

265 Derek and the Dominos Derek and the Dominos Derek and the Dominos were a blues rock band formed in the spring of 1970 by guitarist and singer Eric Clapton, keyboardist and singer Bobby Whitlock, bassist Carl Radle and drummer Jim Gordon.

On Layla alone, they deserve to be in the top 100

Eric Clapton. Anybody remember him?

Get this and other great bands above all that emo garbage.

This is terrible to be this far down the list, if you can even call it that!

267 The Animals The Animals The Animals were an English band of the 1960s, formed in Newcastle upon Tyne, during the early part of the decade.

The Animals at 812?!?! No! None of the five hundred bands ahead of them even exist for more than five people! They made House of the Rising Sun, and they were one of the greatest bands of the 60's. The Animals deserve to be at least in the top 100.

Talk about disrespecting a great band of the 60s! Their rendition of an old, old folk song, The House of the Rising Sun is at least in the top fifty of best songs. Eric Burdon? If you have never heard them you should make the effort,

I just can't believe this at all!
Give me a break from this damn list!
It's wrong, a lot of the Band's are and have been placed in the wrong spot on this list!

You must be kidding

268 Cinderella Cinderella Cinderella is an American glam metal and hard rock band from the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The band emerged in the mid-1980s with a series of multi-platinum albums and hit singles whose music videos received heavy MTV rotation.

Why aren't they in the top ten? I think they might of had Brian Johnson (singer of AC/DC) at one time. - masonkv

Tom Keifer has always been the lead singer of Cinderella.

Definitely a top 10 band. Especially live.

269 Chickenfoot

This is an all star band! Sammy, Stach, etc. WAY HIGHER!

270 Tarot
271 Foals
272 Taproot
273 Soilwork Soilwork Soilwork is a Swedish melodic death metal band from Helsingborg. They are signed to Nuclear Blast. Formed in late 1995 by Björn Strid and Peter Wichers, originally under the name Inferior Breed, the band changed their name in late 1996 to Soilwork.
274 Scalene Scalene
275 Bloodsimple

The Original "Borstal Boys", listen to "Stay With Me", "you're So Rude" and so on.

Bands like Blur, Kooks and FooFighters would say that Faces are the blueprint for a Rock band.
FF play "Stay With Me" live at nearly all their concerts, they adore Faces. - phr

277 Electric Light Orchestra Electric Light Orchestra The Electric Light Orchestra are an English rock band from Birmingham. They were formed in 1970 by songwriters/multi-instrumentalists Roy Wood and Jeff Lynne with drummer Bev Bevan.

It will always be a matter of taste finally but I know that when you mention elo to most people all they've heard, if even, is Mr. Blue Sky which is a limited example of the range and versatility of the band, especially Jeff Lynne as a composer. Check out such concept albums as 'Time' and 'Secret Messages' for creative, catchy tunes and innovative (for the time) synthesis of exciting sounds. I don't think most people (and certainly myself) have the time (perhaps) or facility to give all the good bands a fair hearing and so much of the great music that doesn't get 'airing' on radio or through the usual commercial outlets never reaches our ears or hearts.

ELO is very much underrated, probably one of the best bands ever. Check out their albums, some great songs from early til the end. Jell Lynne is a genius. This is a band that more people need to know about! - ansley

ELO have many wonderful songs, with great vocals and arrangements. Jeff Lynne has a incredible talent as composer. In my song collection, ELO it's the second band, after Beatles, in number of songs. Jeff Lynne start in Move at 60s and release the excelent Zoom at 2001 as ELO.

One of the best bands from the 70s deserves higher than 374. Put them around 75 to 100

278 A.F.I.

AFI is an amazing band that doesn't get the credit they deserve. They've been around since the early 90's and have put out multiple fantastic albums. Sing The Sorrow, Decemberunderground, Crash Love, Black Sails In The Sunset, The Art Of Drowning among others. Amazing band that doesn't get enough credit. - ToriHorrorPictureShow

Ok so they have fallen off, but from Black Sails To Sing The Sorrow, this band was the best in the world. Can't believe how many bands ahead of them, especially a lot of these newer bands with singers like ADTR. I mean if you don't have a great singer how can you have a great band? Davey is amazing.

A.F. I cannot be the best rock band of all the times for all people but in my opinion is the best rock band of all the universe and I love his songs, every song say feelings deep, therefore A.F. I have my vote

Amazing lyrics, amazing songs, one of the best of all time -

279 The Cranberries The Cranberries The Cranberries are an Irish rock band who formed in Limerick in 1989. The band consists of lead singer Dolores O'Riordan, guitarist Noel Hogan, bassist Mike Hogan and drummer Fergal Lawler.

All their songs are worth listening to. Not a waste of time at all! Pity they had to stop performing... I've never met anyone who actually dislikes their songs, even those who aren't rock fans.

Best band ever with the best songs to me! - Cranberry20

I love their music, so soft and emotional... And Dolores has an unique voice too! - apouroiselle

Zombie the best

280 The Goo Goo Dolls The Goo Goo Dolls The Goo Goo Dolls are an American rock band formed in 1986 in Buffalo, New York, by vocalist and guitarist John Rzeznik, vocalist and bassist Robby Takac, and drummer George Tutuska.

Oh my GOD. I don't want to live on this planet anymore... How are bands like Linkin Park, Escape the Fate, Falling in Reverse, ALESANA, AND SELENA GOMEZ AND THE SCENE HIGHER THAN THE GOO GOO DOLLS? Selena Gomez and The SCENE is higher! What has this world come to...? *cries* The Goo Goo Dolls are so amazing... They deserve way more votes considering over half the bands higher than them don't even belong on this list...

They make Bon Jovi look like a homeless band trying to get a few coins at a New York subway.

I totally agree most of the bands on here totally don't belong seriously R5 and Big Time Rush are not in any way shape or form rock! The Goo Goo Dolls are amazing!

How are they not on here? The Goo Goo Dolls are amazing
