303 The Used

One of the most original bands in the scene. It's slightly disturbing that they are not even in the top 400, while other bands that have openly admitted that The Used have been great influences to them are. The Used is so incredibly original, which is what I think makes them stand out so much among other bands in the scene. I have never seen a band so much as attempt songs like The Bird and The Worm, I'm a Fake, and The Back of Your Mouth. These guys whip metaphors around like it came out of their back pocket. Poetic brilliance is what The Used is, with killer guitar riffs and a mindblowing sound to back those metaphors up.

Just like there stile and its what we listened to in Afghanistan

So looow so low on the list - )) They're actually a great band...Bert McCracken has got a very emotional voice and great screaming...the drummer rocks...great lyrics and catchy songs...Very unique sound...Worth listening.

304 Ensiferum Ensiferum

They have so good music it relax you they rock.

306 The Alan Parsons Project The Alan Parsons Project The Alan Parsons Project were a British progressive rock band, active between 1975 and 1990, consisting of Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson surrounded by a varying number of session musicians and some relatively consistent band members such as guitarist Ian Bairnson, bassist and vocalist David Paton, more.

Can easily make the top 15. Overlooked band.
Bands like Linkin Park have made the cut but Deep Purple hasn't. Although I am just 20, it is sad looking at the present music culture of the world.

Soft rock overlords.

I loved there music! They were awesome!?
Another bad choice on your list!

" We shall call it... THE ALAN PARSONS PROJECT. " - Dr. Evil.

307 Plain White T's

The Plain White T's are certainly not number one, but they are much better than they get credit for. They are all talented musicians while using great writing to make fun yet moving songs such as Hey There Delilah, Rhythm of Love, Our Time Now, Pause, American Nights, 1,2,3,4, Last Breath, Boomerang, A Lonely September and Natural Disaster. The list goes on and on.

308 Devo Devo

Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo! come on, that is the greatest punk album of all time! Then they moved on to new wave and released genius works of art like Oh, No! It's Devo. then of course you have the infamous "Whip It", which I am not a big fan of btw.

One of my favorite new wave bands should be in top 100. what

Eww. What on earth is selena gomez doing on this list. Her songs are AWFUL.

312 Pendulum Pendulum Pendulum is an Australian drum and bass and electronic rock band founded in 2002. Pendulum originally formed in the Australian city of Perth, Western Australia by Rob Swire, Gareth McGrillen, and Paul Harding.

The abillity to combine electronic genres of DnB and dubstep with rock, and still have it sound amazing, is something not many other bands could pull off.

313 Family Force 5 Family Force 5

Are you kidding me? They're the worst!

314 Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band

I'm done. You people have 0 taste in music. Come on, Bob Seger and the silver bullet band at 456? This is a joke, right? Turn the page, night moves, old time rock and roll, against the wind, once METALICA covered them, for god sakes.

I meant savage garden not garden

I voted Queen (just saying) but I can't believe bands like FOB or 21 pilots or even ' garden whjwhjo onmly had one d-mn hit is above this band this is a band that really tries with hjollywood nights like a rock old time rock n roll this is just unacceptable this better change and quick.

317 Hawk Nelson
318 Os Mutantes
319 Newsted
320 Cold Chisel Cold Chisel

Anyone reading this should get a cold chisel album. Try East first then Circus animals. Chisel are hands down the best Aussie band ever like Canadians think about Tragically Hip. Hard to believe these two bands did not reach world audiences. A great band for someone who is looking for something they may have missed who is fantastic.

Unbelievable to think that this band or several of the others from Australasia spawned from around that time are not in the top 50. There are 150 on this list that can only be rated as interesting enough to be loved by their mothers or eccentrics. Some followers and critics need to get out of their shelters for a while to sniff the air instead of stale inhaling.

Cold Chisel are Aussie icons but underrated out side Australia
