These Rock and Metal singers struggled with some sort of addiction whenever it's drugs or alochol. Now let's count them down.

1 Ozzy Osbourne (Drug and Alcohol Addiction) John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne was born on December 3, 1948. He is also known as ''The Prince of Darkness''. Ozzy is an English singer, songwriter, and television personality. He rose to prominence in the early 1970s as the lead vocalist of the band Black Sabbath. Osbourne was fired from Black Sabbath in 1979 and has since had a successful solo career, releasing 11 studio albums.

Kurt does know what he's saying neither does Ozzy but what makes Ozzy worse is that he has illusions sees things that aren't real and lost his voice (he does sing very well though)

He heavily abused both drugs and alochol making him lose his voice in the process.

It boggles my mind he survived nearly 40 years of a load of drugs.

2 Bon Scott (Alcohol Addiction) Ronald Belford "Bon" Scott was a Scottish-born Australian rock musician, best known for being the lead singer and lyricist of Australian hard rock band AC/DC from 1974 until his death in 1980. He was born in Forfar and lived in Kirriemuir, Scotland, for 5 years before moving to Melbourne, Australia, with his family in 1952 at the age of six.

This is what caused his own death unfortunately.

3 Kurt Cobain (Drug Addiction) Kurt Cobain was born February 20, 1967, in Aberdeen, Washington. In 1987, he started the grunge band Nirvana, which became one of the most successful bands ever. He was a talented yet troubled grunge performer. Kurt Cobain became a rock legend in the 1990s with his band. He committed suicide at his Seattle home in 1994.

5 Chester Bennington (Drug Addiction) Chester Charles Bennington (March 20th, 1976 - July 20th, 2017) was an American musician, singer, songwriter and actor, best known for being the lead singer of Linkin Park. Before he was known for Linkin Park, Bennington was the lead singer of post-grunge act Grey Daze who was heavily inspired by Stone Temple Pilots they released two albums with Chester before his death. Wake Me and No Sun Today, a third album called Amends would be released in 2020 consisting of voice samples from Bennington. He has openily admitted about it but this was only with the band's album Meteora ever since then he has never taken drugs since.

8 Lemmy Kilmister (Drug Addiction) Ian Fraser Kilmister, known as Lemmy, was an English musician, singer and songwriter who founded and fronted the rock band Motörhead. He was a bassist and a singer known for his raspy voice. He died in 2015 from cancer and other health problems.

It eventually took his life RIP.

9 Dave Mustaine (Drug Addiction) David Scott "Dave" Mustaine (born September 13, 1961) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, actor and author. Mustaine is best known as a pioneer in Thrash Metal, being the former lead guitarist of Metallica before his dismissal in 1983, leading to finding and becoming the front man of his own band Megadeth shortly after.

He did a lot of drugs over the career of Megadeth and has been to rehab many times

Metallica fired him for this reason.

10 Adam Gontier (Drug Addiction) Adam Wade Gontier is a Canadian musician and songwriter. He is the lead singer, rhythm guitarist and main songwriter for Saint Asonia, but is best known as the former lead singer, rhythm guitarist and main songwriter of the Canadian rock band Three Days Grace.

Mainly with the first album he struggled with drug addiction but he recovered and is now drug- free live.

There is a documentary about his addiction to OxyContin called "Behind The Pain".

He struggled with heroin but at the same time kept going with everyday practice and swimming and that is why he has been so vital and energetic throughout the years. He stopped and ended using drugs in the late ninetees. His guitarist, Hilel Slovak, died becouse of heroin and that had a big influence on the singer. RHCP have a few songs about drug use itself, like their masterpieces "Otherside", "Under the Bridge" or "Snow" (all written by Anthony).
