Top 10 Rock and Metal Bands with No Bad Albums

The Top Ten
1 Death Death was an American death metal band formed in 1983 by Chuck Schuldiner. Death is considered to be one of the most influential bands in heavy metal and a pioneering force in death metal. Its debut album, Scream Bloody Gore, has been widely regarded as the first death metal record, while the band's driving force, Chuck Schuldiner, is acknowledged as the "Godfather of Death Metal." Death released 7 studio albums, and are the band that started the Florida Death Metal scene. They were known for their death metal classics Lack of Comprehension and Crystal Mountain. Death ended in 2001 when Schuldiner died of Brain Cancer.

Not only have they never made a bad album, but not one of those albums even included a song that wasn't on par with the rest.

Definitely! Every Album is Great And presents something New

Definitely deserves to be number 1

This will stay Number 1, I promise!

2 Tool Tool is an American alternative metal/progressive metal band, that was formed in 1990. The band is set together between Maynard James Keenan (Vocals), Danny Carey (Drums), Adam Jones (Guitar) and since 1995 Justin Chancellor (Bass). The band is known for their influences from electronic sounds and their overly complex and strangely structured songs. They released their debut album "Undertow" in 1993 and later put out other famous albums, like "Lateralus" and "10,000 Days". The band has established a legacy as one of the most well-known and beloved progressive metal and alternative metal bands of all time.

Their first isn't that great, but after that everything is amazing

3 Opeth Opeth is a Swedish progressive death metal band from Stockholm, formed in 1990 by David Isberg, who invited Mikael Akerfeldt into the band as a bassist. Isberg ended up leaving the band, which lead to Mikael becoming the band's vocalist, guitarist, principal songwriter, and driving force. Along with Edge of Sanity, Opeth is credited with being the first progressive death metal band, although they now play progressive rock. Akerfeldt is good friends with Jonas Renkse of Katatonia, and Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree.

The word "Bad" should not be used in a list where there is Opeth's presence. None of their albums were just simply average or good, but, instead were high quality arts deserving a place in a museum of music.

Opeth, Insomnium, Immolation, Dissection, Bolt Thrower, and Agalloch are the only bands I deem to have flawless discography.

Opeth is a gift.

4 Blind Guardian Blind Guardian is a German power metal band formed in the mid-1980s in West Germany. They are often credited as one of the seminal and most influential bands in the power metal and speed metal subgenres. Heavily influenced by Queen, they use the technique of overdubbing. They also incorporate large amounts of orchestral arrangements. Hansi Kürsch creates a huge choir effect by overdubbing his own voice multiple times in complex, overlapping harmonies. Thanks to overdubs and numerous backing vocals Blind Guardian stand out with a very dense sound.

Not a dog in the bunch of what they've released either before or after Cobain's departure. ALL totally TOTAL! My personal favorites are "Incesticide" & "With The Lights Out."

All of their albums are extremely overrated, and I wouldn't call them good...

I would say: they have never made an album someone didn't choose as his favorite. I have even seen some fans picking Virtual XI or No Prayer as their favorite album of the band.

However, there aren't really any people who think all of their albums are good. It differs from opinion to opinion which ones are, but everybody thinks there's at least one. If I have to choose one album that is objectively bad by any standard, it's No Prayer for the Dying. I think many people judge the Blaze albums without giving them a listen, I was surprised they are that good when I first checked them out (same for Judas Priest's Jugulator).

All of their 90s albums were horrible, and they haven't made a truly great album since Brave New World 18 years ago.

All amazing, even the 90's albums. Now, they weren't as good as the 80's stuff, but still good.

Yup even No Prayer for Dying wasn't that bad still had some great tracks
