Interpretation of the visitor's comment: "Shocked to find an example of good MUSIC on one of your lists."
I think I make very good music lists but the visitor wrote this because he hates metal and thinks it's not music. Most of my lists are metal-related and he doesn't like them. He wrote on other lists that metal is garbage and noise, and overall nothing is good in metal - singers, guitarists... And because Alannah Myles isn't metal, it's (finally) good music on my lists. I prefer metal but I also like rock which proves I'm broad minded, unlike the visitor.

"You put rap, hip-hop and metal in one group." Are you illiterate, or are you being purposely obtuse? The "category" they share is that of "they suck." Complexity is no measure of quality. You're impressed by extreme volume, frantic shreds and scales, progressions with no musicality, and shrieking vocals with psychotic lyrics. Many are not. Just curious---are you a musician?

I actually remember it well. I was 13 and thought what an incredible voice she has. I've liked it ever since.
