Top 10 Rock and Metal Songs that Would Sound Great If They Rerecorded It with a Different Vocalist
I personally don't like Chris Barnes that much as a vocalist in My opinion they should rerecord this one with Corpsegrinder's vocals and this song could be a lot better than it already is
Good List, Also Christangrant On The Other Comment I Made On The Flo Rida And Nicki Minaj List, I Was Asking If You Were Going To Remix The Worst Movies List Aka Your Least favorite Movies - VideoGamefan5
This one gets my vote because the intro is my favorite metal intro of all time but after that Dave often gives me a hard time.
While I think Dave is a ok vocalist a rerecord of this song with a different vocalist would be nice
I honestly don't mind his singing on this.
Vocals are OK here but Bruce vocal technique is better so I wouldn't mind a different version. By the way, there's an official live version with Bruce on vox and it's so good that I listen to it.
Maiden needs to rerecord this song with Bruce Dickinson on vocals to make it even more amazing than it already is
Rush is good in every way except vocals as talented as they are with 3 members they should have gotten a 4th member to sing vocals and this song should be rerecorded with a different vocalist
I'd love to hear this song with a different singer, yes.
This song really needs to be Rerecorded firstly removing the repetitive chorus and two having Bruce Dickinson on vocals could turn a bad song into a good one
Now there is a Remix album where Anthrax rerecorded Their old songs with John Bush on Vocals but this song should have been on their this would be a even better song with John Bush on Vocals in my opinion I like his voice a lot more than Joeys
I peronally think that during the Dio era of Sabbath they should have rerecorded this song but with Dio on vocals it would be a lot better than it already is although this could also apply to almost any sabbath song with Ozzy on it
This is my favorite Sabbath song from Ozzy era - not for the vocals though. Ozzy vox are OK and don't annoy me much here but I agree Dio would do them better.
I have listened at least 10 cover versions of this song. At first I was really enjoying this song. I though how come Bod Dylan got an awesome voice. Later I knew it was just another cover version.
Bob Dylan is an excellent song writing but as a Vocalist No this song should be recoreded with a Different Vocalist
The one good song from Van Halen III should be rerecorded with either Samy Hager on Vocals or David Lee Roth
I think personally That this song should be both rerecorded with Anselmo on Vocals and change up the guitar riff off the song give some more groove to it and maybe change some of the lyrics as well which if that could happen this would be a metal anthem by Pantera
Yes. I mean the opening guitar riff was good. The solo isn't also bad. But his voice was annoying(for me). Plus the lyrics.
This song is almost perfect :
It has an excellent riff.
It has some well-crafted lyrics.
The bassline is on-point, the drumming is frantic
The solo is hailed as one of the greatest of all time.
The only weak point is Mustaine's vocals...
If that was fixed, the song would be a flawless masterpiece.
I disagree, Ozzy's unique vocals are perfectly fitting on this track. They have this chilling vibe that fits the spirit of the song perfectly.
OH LORD YEAH!
With Dio on Vocals this would be a lot better
I have no problems with Dave singing here, one of the rare exceptions.
This singing wasn't that much bad. I mean not like most other songs of Rush.
Very underrated song I think personally this song would be appreciated a lot more if a different person was singing it
There's a great cover by Paul DiAnno (ex-Iron Maiden) so you can hear how a new version with a different singer may sound.
"Angels Fall First" actually was only a demo album, and was never meant for a widespread release, so it has a few oddities here and there... like Tuomas Holopainen singing this song instead of Tarja.
In general, I wished they re-recorded the album on a bigger budget. The song writing and composition are great as always, but you can hear the small budget all the way through. And Nightwish is one of the few bands that sound better on a bigger budget, as what they deliver is essentially the modern version of operas.
