Rock Singers That Could Be / Could've Been Punk Singers

Rock singers that could've been punk singers, or possibly can be depending on how they sound. I'm excluding singers that are already in a punk band, so no Billie Joe Armstrong for this list. Also I'll be excluding Thrash Metal singers, because Thrash Metal has punk influences. If I missed a particular singer, feel free to add them.
The Top Ten

Songs like: War, Guilty All The Same, Across the Line, Cry Cry, Out of Time, All for Nothing, No More Sorrow, Given Up, End of the World, and etc. kind of give me punk vibes and his vocals could've easily worked with the genre shame that it didn't though.

Can we please stop letting Dimash Kudaibergen fangirls vote on lists?

GET him out of the top ten now! His voice does not suite Punk music at all!

NO his voice doesn't fit punk, it's too melodic and lacks aggression.

3 Dave Grohl David Eric "Dave" Grohl is an American rock musician, multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, producer and film director. He is best known as the former drummer of the hugely popular 90s grunge band Nirvana and the vocalist/guitarist for the alternative rock band Foo Fighters. He has sat behind the drums for many bands and artists, most notably: Queens of the Stone Age, Tenacious D, Ghost B.C, Them Crooked Vultures, Tom Petty, Nine Inch Nails, Pearl Jam, David Bowie, Scream, Probot and many, many more.

His screams can definitely fit hardcore punk in my opinion.

4 Michael Barnes

No not really his screams don't really fit in Punk, also his singing voice is way too melodic to sing Punk.

AKA the singer of the post- grunge rock band Red, and I can hear a punk vibe in his voice.

5 Serj Tankian Serj Tankian is a Lebanese-born Armenian-American singer-songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, poet, and political activist. He's best known for being the lead singer of the Armenian/American rock band System of a Down. After System of a Down's hiatus in 2006 he began to release solo material. Some of his solo songs include: The Sky is Over, Lie Lie Lie, Harakiri, Baby, Empty Walls, and more. Maybe not now, but definitely when he was in his prime vocally as for now his singing is well... stale...

His vocals do resemble Jello Biafra of Dead Kennedys.

Eh kind of, but also kind of not.

7 Shaun Morgan Shaun Morgan Welgemoed, known publicly as Shaun Morgan, is a South African musician and singer for the post-grunge/alternative metal band Seether.

I can kind of see, but also kind of can't in a way.

8 Zack de la Rocha Zacharias Manuel "Zack" de la Rocha (born January 12, 1970) is an American musician, poet, rapper, and activist best known as the vocalist and lyricist of rap metal band Rage Against the Machine from 1991–2000, and after the band's reunion in 2007 until their last show in 2011. He left Rage Against the Machine in October 2000, and embarked on a low-key solo career. With former Mars Volta drummer Jon Theodore, de la Rocha also co-founded One Day as a Lion in 2008.

Again debatable, but I needed ten items.

9 Chris Cornell Christopher John "Chris" Cornell was an American rock musician and singer-songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist, primary songwriter and rhythm guitarist for Seattle rock band Soundgarden and as former lead vocalist and songwriter for the supergroup Audioslave. His vocal range was C2 to A5, while his highest notes went up to G6. He died on May 17, 2017.

He probably could have been. Because he's a great singer. And his vocal technique was advanced and polished. Why waste it on singing punk? Punk singing isn't very demanding.

Kind of debatable, but I needed ten items and couldn't think of much choices so eh.

10 Corey Taylor Corey Todd Taylor was born in December 8, 1973. He is an American musician, author, and actor best known as the lead singer and lyricist of the Nu-metal band Slipknot and hard rock/alternative metal band Stone Sour.

Kind of a bit iffy with this choice but again I needed ten items.

McKagan rejoined the band in 2016, following their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Listen to him singing some punk covers of The Spaghetti Incident album. He could have been a pretty good punk singer.

12 Wayne Static Wayne Richard Wells, known professionally as Wayne Static, was an American musician, best known as the lead vocalist, guitarist, keyboardist and music sequencer for metal band Static-X.
