The Top Ten
Yes. Yes. Yes.
His cover of Symphony of Destruction impressed me and I thought he would be the perfect singer for Megadeth. His voice's got power, aggression and even some brutality that would be great for the Megadeth material. - Metal_Treasure
Had a great punky vibe to his voice on the early Maiden albums, and he could also reach a high note very well too. - Mrveteran
He has a cover of Symphony of Destruction and he nails the vocals in that song so he really should be the lead singer of Megadeth - christangrant
If he was the singer, then I would love Megadeth. - JCHOW
The real deal! - Metal_Treasure

At his prime, he was one of the few vocalists who could do gruff but also sing in that style very well, as opposed to people like Mustaine who are good at gruff but not actually singing. - Mrveteran
LOL I couldn't resist adding him,to this list because it would be funny if he was singing for Megadeth - christangrant
Lol he did symphony of destruction pinching his nose. Look it up on youtube. - SoldierOfFortune
HORRIBLE SINGER WITH SILLY LYRICS. Ridiculous Choice.
James wrote new lyrics to The Four Horsemen because the lyrics Dave wrote were silly - lyrics that Dave used later for The Mechanix. Lyrics to The Mechanix are really silly - about having sex at a gas station. Thank god James wrote new lyrics to The Four Horsemen. - Metal_Treasure
Why wouldn't you want him singing he sounds amazing - christangrant
Yes, he's a very good singer - everyone who can sing Rob Halford songs is. But I think he should be lower on this list because I'm not sure he would be a good singer for Megadeth in particular:
1) his voice isn't a thrash voice (not all Megadeth songs are thrash but I can't ignore their thrash songs)
2) his vocal skills surpass the vocal requirements of Megadeth songs so why waste parts of his skills
3) he got hated enough for being a replacement in the past. - Metal_Treasure
Hmm, he's great but I am not sure his voice is good for thrash - Metal_Treasure
He’s sitting on his ass not making albums, so, he has time.
Honesty he sings better than dave - christangrant
Whats funny is that he sang in a Megadeth song called Dance in the Rain and of course he sang better than Dave did in that song - christangrant
He's not the best singer ever but he does sing better than Dave does - christangrant
Dave Mustaine considers him his godfather and Megadeth did cover No. More Mr. Nice Guy not sure if he can sing thrash songs but his voice fits Megadeth - christangrant
He can sing thrash songs, he sang lead vocals on Fistful of Metal by Anthrax - christangrant
He was the singer of MD 45 a side project where Dave Mustaine played guitars for - christangrant
