Top 10 Best Rock Songs from 2000-2015

Basically Modern Rock songs from 2000-2015. I didn't include this year cause a lot of stuff didn't came out this year, and it's been rather slow for Rock this year. And for this list to be somewhat different I used different songs rather then the same ones over and over again.

The Top Ten Best Rock Songs from 2000-2015

1 Boulevard of Broken Dreams - Green Day

Yeah, this one's great.

2 Yellow - Coldplay

Not really good, to be honest. I preferred Viva La Vida. This song is just ugh terrible.

3 Minority - Green Day

Seems like that you're huge fan of Green Day.I was also a big fan when I was in your age (still a fan,but not like before).Anyway songs like boulevard of broken dreams or 21 guns are more popular than minority. - zxm

I am a fan of Green Day wish I found out about them earlier. And I don't care which songs are more popular just which songs I find suitable for this list. Plus this song is really underrated. And I just think it deserves a bit more attention but that's just me.

4 How to Save a Life - The Fray
5 Last Resort - Papa Roach

The song is not great but the riff is awesome - zxm

This song is just garbage, I would rather listen to Animal I Have Become, Minority, Fake It, Everybody's Fool and Bitch Came Back over this song.

6 In Too Deep - Sum 41
7 21 Guns - Green Day
8 Snow - Red Hot Chili Peppers
9 Hurricane - Theory of a Deadman

Great lyrics and a great music video what else could I ask for?

10 You're Gonna Go Far Kid - The Offspring

The Contenders

11 Wicked Game - Stone Sour
12 Whispers in the Dark - Skillet

It breaks away from the typical Skillet formula and has more darker lyrics and Chris sings just fantastic in this song!

13 Haunted - Evanescence

This song really creeped me out the first time I heard it when I was younger. Now though I'm not as creeped out. I Really enjoy the lyrics and how the sound sounds so creepy, in my opinion this song would be great to use in a horror movie!

14 Welcome to the Black Parade - My Chemical Romance
15 For You - Staind

A great song that focuses on the concept of teens, in quite the way. Really underrated and definitely one of Staind's best next to "It's Been Awhile".

16 It's Not Over - Daughtry

Quite a underrated song that deserves more attention, plus it sounds natural so there's that.

17 Sugar, We're Goin Down - Fall Out Boy

Eh mediocre at best I preferred Centuries but that's just me.

18 Time of Dying - Three Days Grace

There were a lot of Three Days Grace songs I thought of but this just was the one that came into mind right away.

19 Broken - Seether
20 I Write Sins Not Tragedies - Panic! at the Disco

Terrible._. I hate this band and this song isn't any better.

boring - zxm

21 Release the Panic - Red

Kinda sounded like metal but so much rock than metal - DynastiNoble

Eh Rock & Metal are similar so doesn't really bug me all that much.

22 Pieces - Sum 41
23 Octavarium - Dream Theater

This is #1. This is a 25 minite long madterpiece. The goal of this song isn't just to be catchy and appealing like a great portion of today's music. This song has the greatest display of musicianship from every individual instrument, great lyrics. It's like a symphony of modern heavy metal/rock. I urge every single person to listen to this song, it's easily the best, most well written song of this century - ryanrimmel

24 The Hand that Feeds - Nine Inch Nails
25 Chop Suey! - System of A Down

I preferred BYOB over this song. This song is just ugh... trash.

26 Trains - Porcupine Tree
27 Lazarus - Porcupine Tree
28 Hunting High and Low - Stratovarius
29 Into the Void - Nine Inch Nails
30 Circle - Ghost
31 Cusp of Eternity - Opeth
32 Undead - Hollywood Undead

Just no... sounds like trash that I'll gladly throw away.

33 Day of the Dead - Hollywood Undead
34 No.5 - Hollywood Undead
35 Nemo - Nightwish
36 Sacred Worlds - Blind Guardian
37 A Line in the Sand - Linkin Park
38 Holiday - Green Day

40 Jesus of Suburbia - Green Day
