See? I don't just have Blues Harmonica on the brain - I also have Rock; some which feature some of the best Harmonica playing. So...if you know of any more which deserve to be here, feel free to add or vote for an existing item.George Martin, mentor to the Beatles, recorded an album of their songs, "Off the Beatles Track". The songs are instrumentals using orchestra and other instruments, so hopefully this counts as a rock song. This song is 1 of 2 with my all-time favorite harmonica. "Love Me Do" IS a rock song. Early rock, pop rock. 'Pure pop' in the early 60's consisted of singers with backup musicians; the Beatles had a rock band line-up.
"Love Me Do" is NOT a rock song! It's pure pop!
This song (relatively speaking) is the most bluesy thing they did.
