The Top Ten
1 Baba O'Riley - The Who

The intro was created by running a an organ's repeat-rhythm feature through a synthesizer. Though it produced a memorable signature, it was no great musical feat.

I only wish it was shorter. It gets annoying because it's repetitive and long.

Guess what the intro was played by a guitarist.

2 The Final Countdown - Europe

"This and Eye of the Tiger are a toss-up for lamest song ever.", visitor, please suggest me some good songs.that are not lame.

This one makes me wanna fly!

3 Jump - Van Halen

And again by a guitarist

4 Rainbow in the Dark - Dio

I think this song is traditional metal but metal is a subgenre of rock so no problem with being here. And yes, the song is epic and awesome, with great vocals.

For me it was the best thing of the song.
