1 AC/DC AC/DC are a Australian hard rock band, formed in November 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young, who continued as members until Malcolm's illness and departure in 2014 . They were fronted by Bon Scott until his untimely death due to alcohol poisoning in 1979, after which they hired Brian Johnson to front the band. Commonly referred to as a hard rock or blues rock band.

I can kind of understand their appeal but honestly I don't care for them much.

Their music was interesting though not something I listen to every day. Maybe they will grow on me.

It's been awhile since I listened to any of their albums but I think they are pretty good. I think Seventh Son of a Seventh Son was my favorite.

6 Blink 182 Blink-182 are a pop-punk band formed in 1992. Original lineup were Mark Hoppus (Bass Guitar, Vocals) Tom DeLonge (Guitar, vocals) Scott Raynor (Drums). Raynor was fired from the band in 1998 and replaced by drummer Travis Barker. I'm just jealous of how clean they sound after decades of professional remastering.

Oh yeah and of course their massive influence on music, like defining the way we construct albums and being the first band to put a hidden track on an album.
And they're talented and very original. They put humongous effort into their music.

12 Blind Guardian Blind Guardian is a German power metal band formed in the mid-1980s in West Germany. They are often credited as one of the seminal and most influential bands in the power metal and speed metal subgenres. Heavily influenced by Queen, they use the technique of overdubbing. They also incorporate large amounts of orchestral arrangements. Hansi Kürsch creates a huge choir effect by overdubbing his own voice multiple times in complex, overlapping harmonies. Thanks to overdubs and numerous backing vocals Blind Guardian stand out with a very dense sound.

Legendary band! One of the best Melodic Death metal bands out there. Not a single bad album.
