So as you may know, there are so many reboots for old movies or franchises that are an attempt to play off of the popularity of an old movie or franchise to start a new movie or franchise. Sometimes, the reboots are good... Sometimes they're not.

Some people view reboots as terrible because "nothing can be as good as the original! " Sometimes, this is the case, and sometimes it's not.

And sometimes, reboots come out and they just feel out if place. Why is that?

1 A good time must have passed since the original movies
2 The old movie franchise must be dead and gone
3 The old franchise must have concluded
4 Similar character relationships and plot elements
5 They must recast
6 Bring back your favorite elements
7 The new cast must resemble the old cast

This is vital if you want me to waste my time going to the movies to see your reboot

8 Needs a visionary director
9 Remove the bad elements
10 It needs to be original, but not too different from the originals
