Saddest Anime Deathslukestheman4
The Contenders: Page 5
Although more of a disappearance than a death, still a heartbreaking scene
Seriously the saddest thing ever
Sasori's death was so sad I cried for weeks and got depressed. When he died they told about his past which made me cry even more. Sasori was my favorite character and I love him.R.I. P Sasori
It was only sad because of his history. What is it with this show? It's like it hates orphans and parents
What a bad granny is Chiyo! I cried for weeks after this!
He died to soon he was to good for this world and kiled by his granny and the useless sakura
Oh man, where do I even start? So many people died in Monster, but Grimmer was sweet and always helping the other main characters whenever he could. He had so much left undone that when he died it was so hard not to cry. Yes, Grimmer, you became human again too. :'(
Grimmer was an amazing character. He was sweet, kind and truly cared for the people around him. It's always sad when a good guy like him dies.
He finally became human, and then had his humanity taken away from him. He was an amazing character, and his realization at his death was amazing.
I cried when he died and I'm not ashamed cause he was a great character and it's too bad monster isn't as well known as it should beV 1 Comment
I personally, really like Ulquiorra. I mean, just some part of his cold and insolent attitude appealed to me. He spent so much time with Orihime and he had finally had a heart, and then, Ichigo, just becomes so crazy powerful and kills him. I was so happy when he got a heart, because I was like "YAY, now he'll become human and happy" but NO, Ichigo kills him. I like Ichigo and all, but, Ulquiorra's death was another one in Bleach that was unfair.
The setting.. The music.. The way Inoue spoke to him and reached him in his last moments.. It's... Heartbreaking.. Saddest death in Bleach ever..
It really is sad that his death is not in the top ten. The way in which he extends his hand towards Inoue and the manner in which Inoue said I am not scared is something which I can't forget till date. He was the coolest Espada and Inoue and he would have made a great couple... - Hellblazer94
Saw the episode today, the saddest I've been in two yearsV 7 Comments
In my opinion this already should have been here but. Anyway this death was the saddest in the series and I'm choked because of it all the other characters died just like that but she died slowly and she had a conversation with her crush before she dies...
I only watched the anime version she got skewered.
She was like: " Idiot. You should have at least said you remembered" to sakakibara.
Why isn't this already here it's so sad she was a favourite character of mine and her death made my choke and almost cry!...
Izumi's death was really touchingV 6 Comments
I thinks bellemere is second saddest moment in one piece after Ace died.
He was one of the coolest Old guy in Anime. He came to rescue ASCE he tooked so much beating in order to protect his crew that it was unbearable to watched. and even in the death He Kept his honour and died while standing.
Whoah what he was the coolest and he died end of story when he died I cursed oda eichiero and all his bloodlineV 1 Comment
He's dead now. Though him dying wasn't tragic. It was expected and lame. "Oh hey, I'm going to bang Rin in the afterlife now, you stay here Kakashi. Here's 2 eyes for you."
No tears were shed by anyone after. Sakura didn't cry and she cries at everything.
HE's not dead yet just taken over
Tobi is Obito, he didn't die tobitotobitobitobitobito I'm Genius :B
Ya if you did not cry on obitos and minatos death you are watching the rong show thos deaths were sad
The saddest part is that I felt her emotions... If I was in that world, I would have died the same way, since we are so alike.
She was so determined, I don't cry at these things, but she was willing to give her live. She wanted to save her friend, or something along those lines.
I cried bucketloads at this scene.
KYOKO WHY!?!?V 1 Comment
"Thank you... and good-bye... my friends."
(FMA: Brotherhood) Greed ironically was the only homunculus to truly become human, by sacrificing himself at the most critical moment. When he was dying, he realized he had actually gotten everything and the one thing he really wanted in life. Greed's evolution throughout the series was such a heavy emotional arc despite his cool and calculating bravado that there were moments you felt like crying for him, but his end had to have broken any barriers you might have had to that point. If Envy's death did not break you down, Greed's death is certainly the crushing blow.
Greed was the only good Homunculus, and he was a character with a unique personality. He made the final battles a bit interesting, but, sadly he died. The only case I like a greedy character. Why do characters with great personalities die in FMAB, First Hughes, now Greed
I cried. I've only ever cried because y we of a show when (spoilers) Amy and Rory died, Nina Tucker, Maes Hughes, and Greed. He was a better "person" near the end because he was influenced by Ling, one of my favorites. Then at the end Ling says that he rubbed off on him. I sobbed.
He's the best homonculus - naoV 3 Comments
Can't believe this isn't higher. I'm a strong Inuyasha/Kagome lover, and for most of the series I despised Kikyo and how she had a hold over Inuyasha from being his first love. In the end however, I realized everything she did was out of love. Her jealousness, bitterness, fighting for justice, all came from her love for Inuyasha.
To bad for her. She was a bad person.
Not gonna lie, even though I love Kagome and Inuyasha together and didn't like Kikyo for most of the series until the end, her story was truly sad. Her ending, though necessary, was truly tragic.V 2 Comments
I feel so bad for Mariko! She was locked up in a cell for a long time and was hoping that her mother and father would one day come and take her home with them. Then, her jealously against Nana grew for she was able to call Kurama "papa" and she was about to be killed by him. Him saying that every moment of his life he had been thinking about her made me sad. Then the end when they both died together made me cry on the inside. At least the entire family will be together now...
Her final moments were spent with her true father, but I was so upset that Nana was left alone
As much as I loved this anime she was already how you say...dead...COME ON! SHE WAS IN A WHEELCHAIR!
He was originally Goku's enemy, following his death he decides to personality train Gohan himself although he was incredibly strict he and Gohan eventually become good friends, the very first real friend Piccolo ever had which is why he sacrifices himself to save Gohan during the battle with Nappa. - egnomac
I don't think that any deaths in DBZ (except maybe the first few ones) were sad. We always knew that they would be revived. Even Piccolo's real death in GT was rushed and emotionless. - RalphSaad
Erm, Piccolo died in GT For real..
Kakashi did not die he is still alive and if he dose die I will sue the guy who diced to think it was a good idea to kill kakashi the most hottest guy on Naruto
He's still alive. He wasn't confirmed dead either, it was presumed.
He is alive again so I'm not sad... Please stay alive kakashi

I'm so sad to say that he's now dead. He died in such a brave and heroic yet horrible way for his friends, being burnt to death. He was such a ray of sunshine in a dreary universe. A rose growing from concrete. He was intelligent, underrated and extremely brave. R.I.P Armin.
Armin was so precious, we all respected him, we all rooted for him. I cried when it happened. I don't think I'll ever get over it. - Aurothon
He... actually... died? OH MY GOD! This literally saddened me. He may have been weak physically but he had the brains. And he was such a good friend of Eren as well. I did not predict he would die but he did. It was really sad! R.I.P Armin (he died in the manga). - SelfDestruct
GOOD NEWS THEY BROUGHT HIM BACK! - izayaoriharaV 5 Comments
Its so sad. Shu was supposed to die with inori but she tricked him and made him the only one to survive. Shu was devastated that he was the only one to survive and that inori was not in his life anymore. At the same time he also lost his older sister and his best friend
Definitely a scene that is etched in my mind and heart for all eternity. The closing moments in the show makes her death that much more depressing.
Inori was one of the best characters. Her death is one of the reasons I will never forget guilty crown.
This was a sad death I literally cried for daysV 10 Comments
I cried, period.
His death is so sad.He deserves better
"I know.I know this better than anyone because I am your friend.." the feels, his death is so sad.ToT
The death of Caesar would make even Chuck Norris cry.
So sad, I'm surprised it's so low on this list (it's kinda sad that jojo isn't as popular as it deserves to be :/ )
Legit one of the saddest deaths in anime, if not the saddest.
WAIT HE DIES?! HE SEEMED LIKE SUCH A COOL CHARACTER! BUT HE DIES?! - OnyxDashV 2 Comments
