Her death just gets me every single time. Seeing Satine and Christian so happy together and having that joy ripped apart just moments after they get back together is heartbreaking. Also, Christian's sobbing at the end... literally the saddest thing I have ever heard.
Yoda is, like, my favorite Star Wars character of all time. I cry every time he dies. His last words are so pathetic, yknow, the way he huffs and puffs and has to give so much effort to spit them out, and the music is all dramatic. Rest In Peace Yoda.
I think this was already on this list.V 1 Comment
I know she was a villain, but she was my favorite character in the movie. - jack2244
Godzilla's death signaled the end of an era. It's so sad to see what we thought was an invincible and unbeatable figure continue fighting until his last breath. Even though this death is sad, it gives us hope by reviving Godzilla Jr.
In his memory, I will never kill an insect again, specially If is a firefly.
As for the who watched the movie, please never practice Vudu!
Watch the scene and try not to tear up
W-a-a-a-a-a-H! So terrible. One of the saddest ever. Poor Atreyu!
During the end of the film, Artax was resurrected. - playstationfan66
Watching the whole movie and then seeing Salim die was hard. Perfect character development and then he's gone.
One user here hit the nail on the head about Nancy being a mother figure. Oliver never knew his real mother. To quote Mr Bumble the workhouse beadle, "Mother came to us destitute, brought a child to the world, gave one look at him and then promptly died without leaving as much as a forwarding name or address."
Part of London Bridge is actually called Nancy's Steps. This is where Nancy was murdered in the movie.

After three hours of watching Tom Hanks bring this charecter to life he just slowly dies.V 1 Comment
The reason Fantine was the saddest death in my opinion is because of her life. Everything was stripped away from her, and she saw so many opportunities walk away from her and couldn't stop it. She was abandoned by her lover, the only man who could've helped her before she was fired from the factory ran away scared, and she had to destroy her body and mind to keep a roof over her daughter's head. Jean Valjean never really helped to make her life easier. Sure, he took her to the hospital and promised to take in her daughter, but it was already to late to save her. Her life was virtually over. She was left dying fearing that she would go to Hell because she gave up her body to prostitution, which is a scary thing for religious people. She had to worry about if Jean Valjean would truly keep his word or if he would treat her daughter with kindness since she didn't know him very well. She also watched as her daughter (albeit a hallucination of her daughter) walked away from her as she was ...more
So much sadness. Her "I dream a dream" is so uplifting and sad.
I didn't know she died.
