It makes me crying and smiling at the same time when I hear that note.
It's not sad but... I love this song! Well maybe just a bit...
That first G-note always manages to make me cry. Even after 9 years.
Breaking Benjamin has been one of the bands that I listen to whenever I need to let tears fall. This song was one of the ones that made that possible. I get depressed so easily sometimes over even the smallest things, and whenever I need that time to just cry, Anthem of the Angels would always be the song I listen to.
This song is about not only loss but regret. It brings to mind past mistakes that one made and how difficult or impossible it is to correct past wrongs.
It reminds me of lost love and the loss of loved ones. Its awesome.
It fast became my new favorite breaking Benjamin song. Truly emotional.
I'm amazed this wasn't in the list.
Hands down the saddest song ever written(watch this video...WOW, ranks up there with Radiohead exit music for a film and green plastic watering can, these songs actually move me.
A truly amazing song.. The verses really describe depression. And the scream in the end is very powerful
