Top 10 Saddest Songs from Non-Disney Animated Movies

Got the idea from Ms. Mojo where they did a top 10 Disney Songs That Made Us Cry and I'd figure I'd do the same for the non Disney animated movies, these are the songs that are the most uplifting and inspiring songs that are likely to leave most cry tears of joy though this may very for persons to person.
The Top Ten
1 If We Hold on Together (Diana Ross) - The Land Before Time

Such a beautiful song that plays at the credits after Little Foot and the others arrive at the great valley and are reunited with their families and such a great way to close out the movie.

2 Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy) - Mr. Peabody & Sherman

Such a beautiful song especially when it plays in the scene where Mr. Peabody looks over the wall of pictures of him and Sherman and we see a montage of them through time meeting with several famous people all leading up to when Peabody finds Sherman abandoned as a baby and fights for his right to adopt him, not to mention John Lennon sings this song.

3 Nothings Gonna Stop Us Now - Cats Don't Dance
4 No Matter Where You Are - The Book of Life
5 Journey to the Past - Anastasia

The 90's version of "Let it Go" years before Frozen.

6 Now and Forever - The Pebble and the Penguin

The movie itself may not be a masterpiece but it did feature one of the most romantic songs "Now and Forever" I especially loved the version with Barry Manillow and Sheena Easton that plays at the credits.

7 You're My Zing - Hotel Transylvania

A very heartwarming song about finding that very special someone that comes once in a lifetime or as this movie would say finding your first Zing.

8 I'm Still Standing (Taron Egerton) - Sing

Very uplifting song especially in the movie which is performed by Johnny who dreams of being a singer and pulls on one hell of a performance even managing to move his father who was against him being a singer as opposed to being in his gang and becomes so proud by Johnny's talent that he breaks out of prison just to see him and tell him how proud of him he is.

9 Real in Rio - Rio
10 Everything is Awesome!!! - The Lego Movie
The Contenders
11 Soon You'll Come Home - All Dogs Go to Heaven

The song in itself is heartwarming, which isn't exactly too much of a surprise. However, it's the production and reality subtext of the song that makes it incredibly depressing and melancholic. The story behind it is too depressing to convey, so I'll leave it there.

With all that said, it's a pretty good track in its own right.

12 Once Upon a December - Anastasia

I personally relate to this song. Many of us long to know the grander things about our mysterious pasts.

13 When You Believe - The Prince of Egypt

A tearjerking and beautiful song about the power of faith and perseverance.

14 Through Heaven's Eyes - The Prince of Egypt

A great song about humility and awareness.

15 The Prayer - Quest for Camelot

Very sad song relatable for anyone who's experienced parent-child separation.

16 I Stand Alone - The Quest for Camelot

You really empathize with Garrett, who's been shunned for his blindness his whole life, and learned self-reliance as a result.

17 A Dream Worth Keeping - Ferngully: The Last Rainforest

A touching song about how dreams are eternal and undying.

18 Raining Like Magic - Ferngully: The Last Rainforest

Great song about the ecosphere

19 Let Me Be Your Wings - Thumbelina

One of the best non-Disney love songs

20 Far Longer Than Forever - The Swan Princess

Amazing song about undying love

21 What a Wonderful World - Madagascar
22 Let It Grow - The Lorax
23 I Choose You - The Willoughbys
