1 Eddie Guerrero Eduardo Gory "Eddie" Guerrero Llanes, was a Mexican-American professional wrestler and a member of the Guerrero wrestling family.

Lots of wrestlers are in tears. Benoit though, is crying his eyes out! Eddie was his best friend and Benoit's death is sad, too.

Lots of wrestlers didn't believe it, especially Chris Benoit, one of Eddie's closest friends.

2 Chris Benoit Christopher Michael Benoit was a Canadian professional wrestler. During his 22-year career, he worked for numerous promotions including the World Wrestling Federation/World Wrestling Entertainment (WWF/WWE), World Championship Wrestling (WCW), Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), and New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW).

Look, I really don't care about sports, but I have to say, this guy's death was in no way "sad." He killed his wife and son, and killed himself too. He killed himself so he would't cause more awful events.

Don't know why this is being picked as one of the saddest. I mean for gods sake he killed his wife and son. He DESERVED to die.

I bawled my eyes out when I heard about his death. He was my favorite wrestler of all time!

3 Owen Hart Owen James Hart was a Canadian-American professional and amateur wrestler who worked for several promotions including Stampede Wrestling, New Japan Pro Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling, and most notably, the World Wrestling Federation, where he wrestled under both his own name, and ring name The Blue Blazer.

Never should've happened. He would've done great with all the new talent when WWF purchased WCW

He plummeted to his death at the age of 34 in 1999 when he was rushed to the hospital and was prononced dead.

4 Ultimate Warrior Warrior was an American professional wrestler, who most famously wrestled under the ring name The Ultimate Warrior for the World Wrestling Federation from 1987 to 1991 and again in 1992 and 1996. During his 1998 stint in World Championship Wrestling, he was known as The Warrior.

That was a very sad death because he had children that now don't have a father

5 Roddy Piper Roderick George "Roddy" Toombs, better known by his ring name "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, was a Canadian professional wrestler and actor.

He died on my birthday

He was the best of the best. He was the leader of all kings. He owned hulk Hogan and all the superstars he faced.

The first ever WWE hall of famer. He is, was, and always will be a legend.

Unbelievable he's not near the top, Top 10 Wrestler of all Time, Charisma, Wrestling Abilities, his mic Skills, his Outfits Etc... Need I say anymore

He was in a car crash which proved to be fatal taking his life at the age of 58 in 2011
