Top 10 Safest Countries to Live In 2015kormo

United States is going down hill. With outrageous greedy government spending, trampling and leaving its people in the dust. Canada is the best!
Canada is like what the USA should have been.
One of the nicest places on earth, eh!
I have visited Canada at least once a year for the last 10 years. I have stopped visiting the USA and have no desire to go back there. In Canada the people are friendly and courteous, the place is clean and well maintained and I have a lot of family and friends there. The economy has been growing and opportunities are there for everyone. #loveToronto
Canada is not only a great place to live, it has low risk for natural disasters and good healthcare.V 86 Comments

" in the middle of tectonics, free healthcare, police that care, great army, friendly, multicultural and accepting
People are usually kind. The weather is terrible but the security is good and even though there is rarely anything to do or see because of the weather I have almost all the time felt safe.
No guns, free healthcare, good healthcare!

Finland is rated the most stable country in the world by the Failed States Index.
A stunning 92 % says that the police can be trusted, making it the most trusted police force in the world. The robbery rate 75 % lower than in United States, for comparison. Almost unbelievably, the prison incarceration rate is 93 % lower than in U.S. , the low incarceration rate allowing the country to have one of the most progressive prison systems in the world focusing on rehabilitation.
While it happens murders eg. as part of domestic violence and between alcoholists, murders on the street are practically non-existent. Due to the progressive social policies, even the most poor areas are very safe, even at night. In fact, Wikitravel lists the following things the most severe threats to a visitor: cold weather, hitting a moose or reindeer by car and slippery pavements.
Oh, and did I already mention that there is no natural disasters, like earthquakes, storms or heavy rain?
Amazing country with friendly people. My wife and I will be moving to Northern Finland in 2017
One of the best education systems.
Seems promising does it have good health care?V 2 Comments
True is by far a great country. It could do so much better and be number 1. But like many European countries they seem to be a self destructive mode too.
I think it could be better but they are weird they hate themselves a lot. No patriotic at all.
In Sweden the highest time you can get in prison is 5 years. And their prisons are like hotels. Seems like a good country to me
Sweden stayed neutral in both World War I AND World War II. It's by far at least the 3rd safest country. - L3ON1ZV 7 Comments
I'm Danish and live in Copenhagen. My mother would tell me I could go any where in the city but just had to be back by dinner. Only once did I run into trouble and that was when I was 15

The UK and the U.S. safer than Ireland? I don't think so. Come on honestly. With the usas gun violence and treat from extremists. Not mention the radical bombings in London and constant attacks that are foiled. I lived in both the UK and Ireland for a number of years and I can tell you being from Switzerland that Ireland definitely is safer than UK!
Everyone knows that Ireland is the place to be. Friendly people, beautiful scenery and plenty of rain
No words need to be said about this peaceful country
Ireland is a very peaceful and safe countryV 11 Comments
Actually with Obama signing executive orders on things that should be reviewed by Congress, its only going to get worse. The raise of the minimum wage for example. Yes on the outside it seems like it would be good, but companies are going to start compensating for that lost money such as raising prices and firing employees (thus only increasing the unemployment rate. So while it may seem like it's starting to get better, it's really not. And no, I'm not some random person who hates on the US, I am an American citizen, born and raised, experiencing this down spiral first hand.
Do not base he actions or inactions of Obama if you are selection the best country to live in. Obama will soon be leaving office (thank God) The US is the most powerful country in the world. Peace is always determined by strength, weak countries never survive. We should however be careful not to worry about the entire world. We should take of our people first and help our friends later. We take care of everyone even those that hate us. This is a big mistake. We are blessed to live in the US.
Power won't help you when you go bankrupt. Canada has an army total of 60,000 and we are a better country than the US. Your ideals that power will make you number 1 just prove how blind you are. - TheCanadianLoyalist
I love USA as I am Pakistani but I really want to live in USA because the people of USA sincere with there own country...and I just love that...
Crime rates are moderately high in some states like Mississipi but still safer than other countries in the world. - CobaltCardsV 35 Comments

I recently moved to Japan from the USA and it's amazing. The cities are so bright and so beautiful, the lakes are so good to go canoeing in, and there's tons of family activities. So many fairs and festivals, the food is amazing, and the overall government is great. It's easy to live on a tight budget, and no, NOT EVERYTHING IS SUSHI! They have the best hamburgers in the world.
Love Japan, 9nth most competitive country in the world. - Allen
Yes knowing Japanese is plus and it takes time to make friends with locals but it is doubtlessly the most polite, disciplined, safe place in the world. crime rate is very low, you almost always get your lost items back.

Australia is a great country. It is safe, with nice people and good weather. There are also some very beautiful sights and wildlife which are unlike other countries. The education system is good with some very good schools and universities. The only problem is that it is rather expensive.
Australia should be 1 or at least in the top 3 because we have gun laws unlike other countries when a toddler comes behind you with a gun and just shoot you in Australia if that happens the child is taken away from the guardian and put in an adoption center.
Australia is good but its lost its way and is slowly turning into america. It was laid back but now its something of a police state. When new legislation is passed your only remaining right will be the right to vote. Pay is low, tax is high and housing is very expensive.
Australia is the best 💛V 19 Comments
Culture everywhere, low crime rates, this is the best place to live in the world.
New Zealand is great. Heaps of food sources, jobs and happy people. If a war broke out New Zealand has heaps of hills so it is hard for ships, planes and helicopters to launch bombs here. It has heaps of trees, nice little walks and a few big cities so you can go to the pub and shop. Overall I think New Zealand should rank higher in this list.
It's surrounded by water and does not bored onto other countries. I think it's safer then United States.
Because it's where I live. It's awesome here! - DunnaNunnaBatman
