Scariest Attractions at the Magic Kingdom

This is a list about the all-time scariest Rides at Magic Kingdom.
Past and present included.

The Top Ten

1 The ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter (1995-2003)

Guests sat into these seats with restraints that applied pressure, making it uncomfortable to experience.
An alien encountered and breathed on you, spat acid, and touched you, all while the theater went dark.
There wasn’t anything as scary as this when it was there.
Disney closed it down for that reason, and rethemed it into Stitch’s Great Escape, which is known to be more stupid. - Gregory

2 Snow White’s Scary Adventures (1971-2012)

In 1971, when it was he original version, it focused entirely on the evil queen, and she threw a boulder on the riders, making it too scary for many.
Therefore they toned down the scariness by making it focus on princess Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, and had a happy ending.
In 2012, Disney closed it entirely to replace with a meet and greet. - Gregory

3 Splash Mountain Splash Mountain is a log flume at Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland, and the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort, based on the characters, stories, and songs from the 1946 Disney film Song of the South.

It’s up on here for a reason.
You anticipate the big drop which looks intimidating.
There’s giant briars near it, and the story is of of the Adventures of Brer Bear and Brer Rabbit following a Song to the South.
It’s a sweet leisurely journey that turns chaotic with surprising encounters with dips and then the vultures show up and there’s thunder and lightning and Brer Rabbit warns you that you’re gonna fall into the Briar Patch, which is basically them saying you’re gonna fall and die, so you go down the big, jaw-dropping, gut-wrenching, high speed, life-flashing, 50’, 45°, 40 mph waterfall, which takes you by surprise.
Plus the Briar Patch is a head chopper.
Of course after that it’s zippity-do-da.
I haven’t been on it, though I have been on Journey to Atlantis when I was much younger(long before knowing SeaWorld’s evil secret regarding the animals), which has a 60’, 45°, 41 mph drop, and it was really scary for a ride, and I went to Magic ...more - Gregory

4 Stitch’s Great Escape

Stitch is a great movie, but this is a scary and gross experience.
First of all, you sit in these seats with restraints that apply pressure, making it uncomfortable to experience.
The story is about Experiment 626 a.k.a. Stitch causing mayhem.
The sounds involved are loud as heck and when Stitch jumps onto the restraints, they press down harder on you, and it is a pain in the shoulders.
The worst part is when Stitch steals a tourist’s rotten chili dog, eats it, and burps in your face.
It’s so gross and will make pretty much anyone throw up.
Stitch is a great movie, but this is just awful.
It’s not only scary, it’s stupid and gross.
Thank goodness it’s only in seasonal operation. - Gregory

Not only that, if you were to ride with the lights on, then you’ll see that there are numerous head and hand choppers all over the ride.
So please keep you’re hands, arms, feet and legs inside the vehicle during the ride. - Gregory

This may be you’re average Mine Train Coaster, which is not very intense.

Also, there are small but gut-wrenching dips as well as head choppers throughout the ride.
