1 Tibetan Mastiff The Tibetan Mastiff is a type of large Tibetan dog breed. Originating with the nomadic cultures of China, India, Mongolia, Nepal and Tibet, its use by local tribes of Himachal Pradesh was to protect sheep from wolves, leopards, bears, large mustelids, and tigers.

Even if they can be scary they can be very loveable. I don't like how this certain photo was chosen, it makes them look scarier than they generally are. Mine is a precious sweet angel. He often doesn't know how big he is and just still ia a puppy on the inside.

There may be a lot of photos of scary tibetan mastiffs like this one, and yes their big and fluffy and could probably tear you limb by limb, but they can also be very sweet and angelic, mine is a very loveable dufus.

German Shepherd dogs are NOT SCARY! I've had 2 German Shepherd dogs that were the kindest, most loving, gentle and loyal dogs you could ever own, and they were great with kids. However, never touch a German Shepherd dog you don't know. They could be highly trained to be guard dogs but that's not peculiar to German Shepherds. There are a lot of dogs that are trained to be guard dogs.

Sure they are adorable and cuddly, but they can be trained to attack. I like this breed because they look awesome!

3 American Pit Bull Terrier The American Pit Bull Terrier is a dog breed. It is a medium-sized, solidly-built, short-haired dog whose early ancestors came from the British Isles.
