Scariest Songs Ever Written

The Contenders: Page 11

201 A Day In the Life - The Beatles
202 Strange Days - The Doors
203 Chop Suey! - System of a Down

Some of the songs they put on here are ridiculously not scary in any way. This is an awesome song; not scary.

204 Dinner at Deviant's Palace - Cradle of Filth

Unsettling when played forwards, even more when you reverse it and hear the kid recite the Lord's Prayer.

205 Rose of Pain - X Japan

Just that creepy whiny singing at the beginning with sad piano music (shudder)

206 Pumped Up Kicks - Foster the People

It relates closely to the Columbine High School massacre and the chorus is a reference to the many children running in fear from the gunman.

Actually a song about a boy with murderous fantasies, but made into an almost happy sounding song due to the writer's background in jingle writing.

It is a song about a school shooting.

207 The Unnamed Feeling - Metallica
208 Centurion - Earl Sweatshirt

The beat is really scary, awesome song though

209 Like Spinning Plates - Radiohead
210 The Devil Is In the Details - Boards of Canada
211 The Small Print - Muse
212 The Horror of Our Love - Ludo

From the perspective of a murderer stalking the person he's in love with and singing about all the messed-up things he's done, wants to do, and which happen to both people in the relationship as a result. The understated lullaby-like tone just makes it more disturbing. It begins with "I'm a killer, cold and wrathful, silent sleeper, I've been inside your bedroom." Quite a cool song.

213 Rooster Landing - Buckethead

The only creepy thing about buckethead is that he wears a Michael myers mask (and I'm not talking about the Michael myers who did the austin power movies).

214 Don't Dream It's Over - Crowded House

I've always thought this song was kind of creepy, but after I saw it in Stephen King's The Stand it made it so much worse. That movie creeps me out, and so does this song.

215 Red - King Crimson
216 The Fox's Wedding - Hatsune Miku & Gumi

The lyrics are violent, but the singing and music are beautiful. Not creepy enough - BlueFrostOfThunderClan

217 Eleanor Rigby - The Beatles

Okay, who isn't scared of this song when they hear it the first couple of times?

218 Terror Time Again - Skycycle V 1 Comment
219 Scooby Doo: Where Are You? Theme - Larry Markes

Tell me about it. The intro to Season 2 always sacred the crap outta me.

220 Addicted to Vaginal Skin - Cannibal Corpse

Based on the true story of grave robber Ed Gein, who was the inspiration for Norman Bates (Psycho), Buffalo Bill (The Silence of the Lambs), and Leatherface (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre).

It's gross this weirdo cuts open women's vaginas and eats the meat and guts
