Everyone knows by now the extent Krabs will go to make money even if it means throwing anyone under the bus to do so, just to name a few he horribly mistreats his employees Spongebob and Squidward making them work countless hours most of the time not even paying them at point even trading Spongebob to The Flying Dutchman for a few measly cents and ruined Pearls Birthday parties by being super cheap.

He's a horrible, selfish character! He only cares about money, nothing else!
