Much like in Germany, CDs are still the strongest and best selling medium in Austria, way more than download or streaming. Because of this, it is still possible and likely hat this list will change in the future.

Austria is a relatively small country, so the best selling album only sold 400.000 units (compared to 3.15 million units in Germany).
