Though Space Dandy is a comedy at it's core, there are a few episodes that focus more on the characters and environments.

This episode is actually surprisingly deep. It was one of the few episodes where I didn't laugh much at all. However, I don't think it was really trying to be funny. Instead, it actually made me think about the concept of death.

Though the finale definitely has plenty of humor, it actually deconstructs the usual shenanigans and makes you rethink about the entire show.

The relationship between Dandy and Adélie is actually really heartwarming.

6 Occasionally Even the Deceiver Is Deceived, Baby

7 The Search for the Phantom Space Ramen, Baby

8 There's Music in the Darkness, Baby

This is episode is actually kinda creepy. It reminds me of Courage the Cowardly Dog.

9 The Big Fish is Huge, Baby

10 Sometimes You Can't Live with Dying, Baby

While not too serious, the episode has a surprisingly intriguing perspective of a zombie apocalypse.
