Top Ten Most Sexist Songs of All TimeRalphBob
The Top Ten
This is a German rap song by YouTube star JuliensBlog, who, as you can see on the cover artwork, isn't exactly known for his good treatment of women. But out of all his sexist statements and punchlines both in videos and songs, this song takes the cake.
So, that you all get an impression of what he's rapping about, let's summarize the song.
First of all, the title translates to "Beating women". Yup.
The first verse consists of things about his girlfriend that annoy him including all the cliches: she hasn't cooked or cleaned up, she is jealous, she isn't in the mood for sex, etc. Then the chorus kicks in (literally): in an eerily happy tone and melody he sings about all types of her bones he will break, hitting her all across the room, knocking her teeth out, etc.
Then in the second verse he gets more specific about what he does to her, like making her eat very VERY disgusting things or hitting her with a vacuum cleaner, and furthermore explains ...more - Martin_Canine
Unfortunately the video to this song has a lot more likes than dislikes. Women didn't deserve those nasty lyrics. - Charlleyyy
Since some of you may haven't read it and are wondering why it has more positive than negative reception: this guy is a YouTuber who uses a lot of dirty and troll humor. The bad taste has become his trademark. The lead single of the album is called "11. September" ("September 11th"), just that you get an idea. You are still free to feel appalled by it, but don't think these people actually support seriously objectifying women. Like the politically incorrect content of "Drawn Together" or "Borat", this is all a big joke. - Martin_Canine
I am not a feminist but too much is too much
This song is not just sexist it is so disgusting and people (specifically Donald trump.) need to stop treating women like objects. We are actual people and we are strong and kickass independent. And I have no idea why people treat people different by where they come from or our skin color or who we like it doesn’t matter you have to accept people for who they are. Not what they look like. There is only one race the human race.V 3 Comments
This song is one of the only songs in history to scare me out of principle. Lil Wayne is one of the most popular rappers in the world, and he's a very well-known freestyler. He says he freestyles to make his lyrics more real to him. This gives me serious chills down my spine on how he feels about people in general. - WonkeyDude98
This song is absolutely the most disgusting thing ever! I do not know what «major laser» was thinking whale they where writing this song this is so sexist. and to all te major lazer «fans why do you like them?!?! They thought it was OK to write this song when it is not. And they may have said sorry but you know deep down they are not sorry.
This is not just sexist! It is absolutely disgusting and these lyrics should NEVER be in a song! 4😡😡😡😡😡
How is this sexist?
This song isn't sexist. It doesn't say that girls should run the world, it says that girls do run the world. Which is, by the way, quite true, because females play a huge part in running the world, but still, it could not have been done without men. The song itself isn't actually sexist, but it suggests sexist ideas, which exposes the sexism sitting somewhere inside your brain. - Charlleyyy
If girls run the world, how come there are 22 female world current leaders and every other country is run by a man. Answer me that feminists.
Their is a thing about making sexist ads from the 50s rewearst, that’s sexist, making a sexist thing towards women and changing the sex just makes it sexist towards men instead.
But writing a song about how women basically run the world is a statement not some kind of hate towards men, and it’s sort of true, no we don’t run every single country in the world like the song suggests but “behind every successful man there’s a strong woman supporting him” so no, girls don’t run the world, but the world couldn’t be run without girls, so we could just say it’s a combined effort and call it a day.
And if you want an example just look at Winston Churchill, the man who made shore England didn’t make peace with Hitler during world war 2. He was the only candidate for prime minister that the opposition would except so even though the king and his own party didn’t want him, he became preminester and he’s considered one of the best motivational speakers in ...more
id do it
There are NO blurred lines when it comes to sexism or sexual harassment. When I first heard this, I didn't really listen to the lyrics, so liked the song because it was catchy. But now, I'm surprised this song hasn't had more criticism. It implies that it's OK to have sex without consent (I know you want it), and that the lines are "blurred" when it comes to consent, which they definitely aren't - if someone (boy or girl, it doesn't make a difference) says no to sex, or anything like that, they MEAN no! It doesn't matter if you "know they want it", their word is final! He also says that girls are "animals" and they need to be "domesticated", as if we're not human beings like men are. Also, they say "what you don't like work", which implies that women should have no say in sex, as the positions they don't like (often because they are painful) are ones men seem to find pleasurable. I'm definitely not saying all men are like this, but unfortunately there are those few, who can freely ...more
HATE this rape-y song!
No, from the title, it'd just seem racist, but I'm not assuming any of the lyrics.
People have to learn that a real boyfriend or girlfriend will like you without makeup on or wearing fancy clothes. They will love you for who you are. So if you do not know if your boyfriend or girlfriend likes you take your makeup off and war sweatpants to see if they like you because of your looks or for who you really are.
"I'm in love with your body"
Uh yeah, what about her personality - xandermartin98
It's not sexist. It just makes people want to kill themselves listening to it.
Not sexist its just horrible
Should be number 1
The lyrics here are sexist. Beyonce thinks that only guys hurt the ones that love them, only guys cheat, and girls never have their friends stick up for them when they screw around.
This song SCREAMS SEXISM. Lyrics like:
Yes I do the cooking, yes I do the cleaning
Plus I keep the na-na real sweet, for your eating
Yes you be the boss, and yes I be respecting
Whatever that you tell me, cause it's game you be spitting
Huh? How? - Elric-san
No fenks! - BorisRule
I have never heard this song and I don’t want to but women nature’s punching bag holy Olympus and hades helmet this is messed up
Lmao what. - Twixx
Unlike Love Me, whose purpose is unnerving, this is just pathetic even by Chris Brown standards. - WonkeyDude98
I like the beats but not the lyrics mostly the white girl part. All my friends love this in rl - FerrariDude64
Pretty much anything by this band counts as sexist.
This is not sexist. It's about sexual attraction to one particular woman who behaves seductive in the first place. He didn't sing "girls are so much cuter with something in their mouths" or crap like that. Or if he saw a random girl anywhere and reduced her to being sexy. But it is very clear from the song's narrative that the woman herself flirts with the men, or may even be a so-called sugar baby. - Martin_Canine
"You look much cuter with something in your mouth" - One of the most sexist lyrics EVER! - LoveMusicLoveLife
This is just inappropriate as they want her to suck his d
How tf is it sexist
I don't remember why I put this here. - RalphBob
He was on ecstasy when he wrote this so that does also contribute to his emotions in this song
and no this isn't sexist, he is just mad - tubby3
Not really...it's aimed at one woman. - WonkeyDude98
