Best Shonen Jump Anime

The Top Ten

1 Dragon Ball Z Dragon Ball Z is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation. Dragon Ball Z follows the adventures of Goku who, along with the Z Warriors, defends the Earth against evil. The action adventures are entertaining and reinforce the concept of good versus evil. Dragon Ball Z teaches valuable more.

Watched when I was little because it was part of my Saturday cartoons.

Very overrated

It is just awesome after reading all these new titles, this one remains on top for me

Still the face of Shonen Jump

2 Hunter x Hunter (2011) Hunter × Hunter is a manga franchise created by Yoshihiro Togashi. In 1999, Hunter × Hunter was adapted into a 62-episode anime television series produced by Nippon Animation and directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi. The show premiered on Japan's Fuji TV and ran until 2001. Three separate original video more.

This Anime didn't just change me, it changed my way of life, it changed anime as we know it and is unrivaled in almost every category imaginable, the lack of filler combined with the complex and genius psychological elements of subtlety and ideology is mesmerizing. Nothing has come close to this anime, and I don't think anything will.

Hunter X Hunter is what all shonen should aspire to be. The arcs and characters are all unique and well thought out. The chemistry and friendship between the lead characters are adorable and strong. Each episode is unpredictable. The characters develop perfectly and the whole series is played out perfectly.

I love the show and plot plus the character development isn't to drastic and it just puts me in a good mood when I am down.

Killua is amazing I love his character
Gon he is a very cheerful boy and very suited as the main main character
Kurapika little edgy I like him but I don't like his season also I thought he was a girl
Leorio yea I don't like his personality in season 1 but season 2 3 and stuff he had lots of character development I liked that
Hisoka well he is gay not that I don't like gay people its just that he's gay in a weird kinda way

3 One Piece One Piece is a manga franchise created by Eiichiro Oda. The manga has been adapted into an original video animation (OVA) produced by Production I.G in 1998, and an anime series produced by Toei Animation, which began broadcasting in Japan in 1999 and has aired 851 episodes to date.

An epic adventure full of exciting action, heart-breaking tragedy and storytelling that will blow your mind over and over again!

This series is amazing and has a fun cast of characters and the story lines are great

Should be #1 or at least 2

Should be # 1 because luffy is awesome no one can beat him

4 Death Note Death Note is a Japanese television drama series based on the manga series of the same name by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. The show is centered around Light Yagami - a promising highschooler and aspiring detective with a strong sense of "justice".

Death Note is amazing, everything that goes through Kiras brain and Ls brain is ingenious ,and unpredictable. Both characters are insanely unique and well thought of that you always contemplate witch side your on even though they are almost complete opposites. The reason this is second on my list is because I see it more of a psychological anime then a shonen.

Best anime of all time, surpasses even Bleach

Mysterious story

Death note is a masterpiece. It’s completely original.

5 Boku No Hero Academia My Hero Academia is a superhero manga series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. It has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 2014, and 20 volumes have been collected in tankōbon format.

This anime is bad, but I had to vote it and I ended up doing so. It’s basically a knock off HxH.

Best Shonen to come out in a long time, I believe that if the story continues to go as strong as it is right now, it will reach the popularity heights of Naruto, one piece and maybe even dragon ball. The amazing blend of music, animation and character development is what really sets this show apart from its pears.

I think for the anime of Boku No Hero Academia, it should be higher on the list. With the starting of season 3, it has been becoming one of the most popular anime of Shonen

Season 1 starts out kinda slow and boring, but seasons 2 and 3 are so good that watching the first season will feel worth it, trust me.

6 Dragon Ball Dragon Ball is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation. It made anime popular in America and is based on the manga of the same name by Akira Toriyama. It was dubbed in English on Cartoon Networks Toonami block and still has many fans today.

This is way more adventurous and fun when compared to Dragon Ball Z. I love them all, but the character development in Dragon Ball and overall show quality completely trumps DBZ.

7 Naruto Shippuden Naruto: Shippuden is the ongoing sequel to the original Naruto anime and covers the Naruto manga from volume twenty-eight on. The TV adaptation of Naruto: Shippuden debuted in Japan on February 15, 2007 on TV Tokyo. It is developed by Studio Pierrot and directed by Hayato Date.

The whole Naruto universe is completely unique and original.

It's about a 12 year old boy that loves ramen and plays pranks but his dream is to become the hokage the top ninja in his whole village and as he get older he continues his missions while his friend Sasuke leaves the village Naruto chases after him then Sasuke chases after Itachi the one that killed his entire clan after Sasuke kills Itachi the war starts by Kakashis best friend then Madara is reborned then later in the war Kaguya is reborned they win the war but Sasuke suddenly got evil they battle until there arm falls off later Sakura finds them she heals them then they were back to the time before.

One of the best anime ever with much better plot and character development than max of of the anime's including DBZ it deserves top 5

same as Naruto, the best and longest story ever.

Need Bleach to come back everything else is absolute trash. Even Dragon ball has nothing on Bleach. Why in gods name did they ever stop making this?

Make Bleach anime return please! 1

Bleach in my opinion is by far one of the best ever made

13 Bakuman
14 Gintama Gin Tama, also styled as Gintama, is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Hideaki Sorachi and serialized, beginning on December 8, 2003, in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump.

I do not understand why it's on number 17. It's comedy is top tier, the action is golden, and just Gintoki is a great character. Okita is my favourite, but still. It's not just satirical, there's some action too, and some good one at that. This should be no. 1, what the hell. Well, it can compete with Hunter x Hunter (2011), but I prefer Gintama cause it's Gintama.

Gintama is underrated. It is probably the best anime I've watched so far. Comprising arcs with different genres and lovable characters from main to minor ones, this anime is highly recommended. (Unless u r too slow to understand the jokes lol)

It's like the Japanese version of Family Guy

I think this anime is super underrated

15 Fairy Tail Fairy Tail is a manga franchise created by Hiro Mashima. The manga has been adapted into an anime series produced by A-1 Pictures and Satelight, which began broadcasting in Japan on October 12, 2009. Additionally, A-1 Pictures and Satelight have developed seven original video animations and an animated more.

This anime is so good from the story to the characters and even the filler by far the best magic anime right above black clover

Shonen Jump did not make Fairy Tail.

In my opinion Fairy tail is one of the best anime shows.

I love this anime

16 Hunter x Hunter (1999) Hunter × Hunter is a manga franchise created by Yoshihiro Togashi. 20 Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is an anime and manga franchise originally written by Hirohiko Araki. It centers around the perilous journey of the members of the legendary Joestar bloodline.

Great characters, short, yet intense and intriguing fights, and a great range of cultures, philosophies, and fantastic writing

JoJo's Bizzare adventure is a well made, and plotted series.

is good

Is good lol

21 Assassination Classroom

Its comical and emotional at the same time. the characters will really grow on you throughout the series

Knows when to be absolutely funny and also serious. It is a great mix of emotion throughout and I could not stop watching once I started. Number 2 maybe only to HxH

Super emotional and sad

24 Haikyuu! Haikyu!! is a Japanese shōnen manga series written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate. Individual chapters have been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since February 2012, with bound volumes published by Shueisha.

So many good anime but my vote goes to this one for it holds a special place in my heart. The characters are so great. Its impossible not to bound with them. I also had a hard time not to root for the other team because all teams and their players have their own story and kind of win your respect during the series. And not to forget the tention all the matches bring with them. I was on the edge of my seat most of the time, laughing and crying with all the characters as they went thru their own personal development and ending up winning or losing... Great great series.

This is the best shounen I have ever seen. Very relatable and lovable characters

best shonen story
