Not a singer of the Ed Sheehan, Zayn, etc. variety. (No offense to them. I love Ed Sheehan). But Dimash has no comparison. With a 5 octave range and classical training he has full command of his technical singing abilities. But if it were just techniques people would not be listening to him in droves. It's how he makes you feel. He takes you on a journey. I feel a better person after listening to him. I've never seen a singer connect with song and audience the way he does. I've never been a big fan of opera but I think he just created a new singing style which, unfortunately, only Dimash can do. I don't know any other singing artist who can do what he does. A true artist of the highest caliber, tall, young handsome. His sincerity, passion, charm, vulnerability all comes thru in his performances. He's a gift to the world.

His old songs like Sing might have been written slightly better than his newer ones, but he still has one of the most greatest writing skills that actually means a lot to his life and other people. We can relate to him more than most great artists and be impressed. I'm not saying that his music was always perfect, but he still has a very good voice, clever writing skills, and some fantastic themes for his songs.
