By the way, just because I chose him on top of my remix, doesn't mean I hate him. In fact he's on my top 10 favorite singers list (profile bio). I chose him on top according to the list title "Overrated but Good".

Neither overrated nor underrated. He deserves the credits he gets.

10 James Hetfield James Alan Hetfield was born on August 3, 1963. He is an American musician, singer and songwriter known for being the co-founder, lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist and main songwriter for the American heavy metal band Metallica.

I believe his 80s voice was incredible. Not too screechy, not too weak. He had it just right, especially for Thrash. Now, due to blowing his voice as well as simply age, he feels more like a southern rock singer. Still powerful but nothing like he was before.

I like him and he is pretty good but I agree he's overrated. I mean there are many metal singers better than him that don't get even half of the credits he gets.
