Singers With the Best Vocal Range

I know Most of you wont agree but these are my opinion completely.

The Top Ten

1 Freddie Mercury Freddie Mercury Freddie Mercury (5th September 1946 - 24th November 1991) was a Tanzanian-born British singer with Persian ancestry, songwriter and record producer, known as the lead vocalist and songwriter of the British rock band Queen. He also became known for his flamboyant stage persona and four-octave vocal range. more.

Freddie Mercury is unbeatable in vocal range. He was the absolute best singer. He died in 1991, and in this 27 years nobody can come close to him in singing.

It isn't true, that he is "highly overrated". He was and is the best singer of all time.

Miss him so much. The greatest singer of all time, nobody beats him, nobody even comes close to him. The god of rock.

2 Jackie Evancho Jackie Evancho Jacqueline Marie "Jackie" Evancho is an American classical crossover singer who gained wide recognition at an early age and, since 2009, has issued an EP and five albums, including a platinum and gold album and three Billboard 200 top 10 debuts .

"Think of Me" at both age 9 and 14 show the tremendous and powerful range that Jackie has in her voice.

Her new album "Awakening" will remove any question about her tremendous vocal range. - Trancas

Not just the range but her consistent quality of tone from one end to the other. - BobG

Uh - Jackie doesn't NOT had a wide vocal range. Her supported range is G3 to B5. That's just a hair over 2 octaves, and pretty subpar for a supposed trained singer. - Gaffawebber

Really a mix devil-angel voice

His voice was/is incredible. My biggest regret is not making time to see him perform live. I had planned to see him on this next tour. I have every cd.

4 Mike Patton Mike Patton Michael Allan "Mike" Patton is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, film composer, producer, and actor, best known as the lead singer of the alternative metal band Faith No More.

This list is singers with the highest vocal range... Mike Patton has the highest vocal range but is 56th... Is this some kind of cruel joke played by complete idiots?

This guy has a range of 6 octaves. 6! Why is he not high on the list

Would be number 2 at least, up there with Freddy Mercury for sure

Just listen to Faith No More's song "Epic" to know this guys full vocal range - christangrant

I am in SUPER RAGE MODE right now! Are you guys serious? Axl Rose? He can hit some of the lowest notes ever and the highest notes for a guy. As much as I love Queen and Freddie Mercury, he had a voice that was always the same. For the people who voted for Paul McCartney, I don't know what to say but this is not the right list for you.

Fun fact: Axl Rose has a higher vocal range than Freddie Mercury

Axl Rose has 5 octaves, 2-1/2 notes! - Metal_Treasure

I don't understand this madness?
Like? Axl Rose can sing in 5 octaves, 2-1/2 notes (F1 to Bb6) which is more than Mariah Carey- 4 octaves, 6-1/2 notes (G#2 to G7)? Like are ya'll ok?
