The Top Ten
"Think of Me" at both age 9 and 14 show the tremendous and powerful range that Jackie has in her voice.
Her new album "Awakening" will remove any question about her tremendous vocal range. - Trancas
Not just the range but her consistent quality of tone from one end to the other. - BobG
It is what Jackie does with her vocal range that brings people to her concerts from all around the world.V 5 Comments
The Greatest Vocalist Of All Time - FettiMC
Highly over-rated, Rolling Stone magazine had him ranked the #18 rock vocalist, which is about right. He is barely qualified to carry Elvis Presley's luggage.
4 Octave Vocal Range - BeatlesFan1964
Freddie Mercury has a known vocal range of four complete octaves (F2-F6).
For instance, Zayn Malik's highest note is a Bb5 (almost C6) and he notably hits C#5 in iT's YoU.
To include perspective, here are some singers with the same or lower, â€"highest known notes hit compared to Freddie Mercury's F6. (Vocal range is measured as C-D-E-F-G-A-B. Example: a C6 is one note higher than a B5 and a C4 is the "middle C'" on piano.)

Really a mix devil-angel voice
His voice was/is incredible. My biggest regret is not making time to see him perform live. I had planned to see him on this next tour. I have every cd.
This list is singers with the highest vocal range... Mike Patton has the highest vocal range but is 56th... Is this some kind of cruel joke played by complete idiots?
This guy has a range of 6 octaves. 6! Why is he not high on the list
Would be number 2 at least, up there with Freddy Mercury for sure
Just listen to Faith No More's song "Epic" to know this guys full vocal range - christangrantV 5 Comments
Always has and always will be, my favorite musician of all time. - Beatlesboy9
Too beautiful for words!
Love his songs
Corey currently has the second highest vocal range out of any modern vocalists, at a whopping 5 1/2 octaves, and he's at 73rd? And as a fan, he is an amazing vocalist. He can sing, growl, scream and even rap and most of the time, it comes out great. He definitely deserves to be in the top 10. - CrimsonShark
5 octaves, 5-1/2 notes! - Metal_Treasure
Bono has so much passion in his voice. Better than everyone else on this list
She is a great singer but her range isn't big - only 2 octaves, 4 notes. For comparison, Ian Gillan of Deep Purple has 4 octaves. - Metal_Treasure
She can reach any note so sad that she died - Colegtheman
WHAT IS THIS? Paul should definitely be number 1! how is Jackie Evancho top? Roy Orbison and Elton John should also be much higher up on the list.
Paul is a better WRITER than anybody!
I love her - KianaLexi
I am in SUPER RAGE MODE right now! Are you guys serious? Axl Rose? He can hit some of the lowest notes ever and the highest notes for a guy. As much as I love Queen and Freddie Mercury, he had a voice that was always the same. For the people who voted for Paul McCartney, I don't know what to say but this is not the right list for you.
Fun fact: Axl Rose has a higher vocal range than Freddie Mercury
Axl Rose has 5 octaves, 2-1/2 notes! - Metal_Treasure
I don't understand this madness?
Like? Axl Rose can sing in 5 octaves, 2-1/2 notes (F1 to Bb6) which is more than Mariah Carey- 4 octaves, 6-1/2 notes (G#2 to G7)? Like are ya'll ok?
Elvis is no one in my book almost operatic voice in most songs like its now or never and surrender a better range than Robbie Williams how can they compare the two. Elvis is better by far.
Nope, his range is pretty limited - 2 octaves, 6-1/2 notes. Even Chad Kroeger's range is better - 3 octaves, 2-1/2 notes. - Metal_Treasure
Just listen to Brutal Love of Tre' (preferably the Live Version)
Her high notes sound like bird calls. INCREDIBLE.
He's a tenor and he has a good vocal range
He can do literally everything!
He sings unbelievably high notes (amazingly) in I Will Talk and Hollywood Will Listen, Tripping or Love Calling Earth as well as those low ones in My Way or Sin Sin Sin.
DLR Isn't quite as good as Freddie Mercury, but he DEFINITELY deserves a place here. - DovahQueen
Orbison was truly great, but nobody could sing 8 octaves.
Oh, yes - 5 octaves, 1/2 notes! - Metal_Treasure
Amazing vocal range! Her high notes are amzing! Almost as her low ones.
He's got unmatched power and perfect technique but in fact, his range isn't big - only 2 octaves, 2-1/2 notes. Freddie has 4 octaves. - Metal_Treasure
Very good vocal range, control and technique
Way, way better than Freddie Mercury!
"Very Good"? Very funny!
The best of all time, by a mile- whoever place Billy Joe Armstrong and Bono above Pavarotti should be banned from TTT.
