Outsmarted Metron (supposedly the smartest being in the universe). He knows almost everything: Science, Math, Technology, Psychology, Language etc. : A true Polymath. Also became THE GOD OF KNOWLEDGE. Created a mech suit that destroyed the Justice league (also has a suit that can rewrite someone's brain cell by cell.)

Knows almost everything about science, math and language. He knows 50+ languages, and is the world's greatest detective. Plus, he went to Princeton, one of the greatest universities at age 14. Ironman may be more intelligent in the technology and engineering field, but overall Batman is smarter.

He is the most intelligent superhero, his plans have backup plans, his backup plans have backup plans too. He has great leadership qualities and can defeat someone more powerful than him.

Batman is considered to be one of if not the smartest human ever to live. His intellect level is said to be between 8-9 making him easily one of the hardest superheros to defeat. He has manage to single handle manage to take out the entire justice league by himself. Although many say marvel fans say they would win in a fight with DC comics just with Bat man alone he can easily take down almost all of them with no further issues. Keep in mind he is Batman.

Iron Man Iron Man is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, as well as its associated media. The character was created by writer and editor Stan Lee, developed by scripter Larry Lieber, and designed by artists Don Heck and Jack Kirby. He made his first appearance more.

The persons who are on the second and third are true Ironman fans and as you all know that people will do anything to make their superhero first. Those two don't know who batman really is. It's not batman doesn't build his own suit. He does not build his suit in the Christian Bale series but wait till you see him build his suit with his own hands in the upcoming Batman v Superman. Not only does batman build his suit in the BVS but also in The Dark Knight Returns in which he defeats superman. So tell those two to shut their big mouth and speak what they know.

He is the best. And the smartest. I mean, how can a guy create a robot which is more intelligent than himself and capable of global destruction.
He is genius, he built his first suit in a cave with a common man to assisst him. He created all the things he owns. He created a program or Artificial Butler (J.A.R.V.I.S) which can run his company, talk to him and do all sorts of things you want him to do. Man he is by far the most Intelligent or the most GENIUS super hero of all time.

Wow you think batman is smarter than tony stark? LOL I think you need to get some smarts. Tony Stark went to MIT at 15. He created repulsor technology. He could kick batmans ass anytime. If batman were smarter than tony stark then why didn't he create an awesome suit like tony stark did? He didn't because TONY STARK IS SMARTER THAN HIM, 'enough SAID

Sure batman is clever and smart, but he does not ever axtualg apply this knowlage, think about it, his suit and weapons have flaws and the bad guys he is against as simple thugs and robbers and a clown, for gid sake a clown, while iron man is a genius and follows though with his inventions and fights legit bad guys not minor robbers!

I suppose reed Richard's has an iq of 264 whereas when we talk about batman it is just 196 and Tony stark is 207 then we have doctor strange and black panther after Peter parker having an iq from range 210 to 250. Reed Richard's has the capability to study cosmic rays and his observation is no match for batman's detective skills. Peter parker being young gives him a lead but reed Richard created a Telenor ter at the age of just 10, so this just blows every1 up (batman is just liked by every1 because of his pre-preparations)

Mr. Fantastic was so smart that he start going to different planets to study other life forms, he basically knew everything on earth. Number 1-2 for sure

Reed Richards isn t just the brain of the Fantastic, he has also developed a portal to send Galactus to a different universe with the help of two other heroes.

Hulk Robert Bruce Banner, also known as The Hulk or Bruce Banner, is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and was portrayed by Edward Norton and Mark Ruffalo in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

A big misconception is that hulk is dumb. Not true at all. Calm hulk is similar to banner in terms of intelligence. World War Hulk has all of banners smarts, and has massive combat intelligence.

He has the intellectual skills and talents of understanding the concepts of gamma radiation and the tesseract.

Bruce Banner should be on here instead. Hulk only thinks about being mad.

Fave hero! I'm hulk's biggest fan yo! He is smart because he is a scientist.

Professor X

Charles Xavier was one of the few responsible for creating Cerebro and is an expert on genetic mutation. SHould be a spot higher.

Enough brainpower to recreate the world the way he wanted to, instead chose to form the X Men

Come on! He can read minds. He can displace people's consciousness in different dimensions.

He is the invincible, inconceivable, incredible...

Beast Beast is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics and is a founding member of the X-Men.

Hank Mcoy should be higher than Bruce Banner. He created a serum that can enhance and get rid of the mutant x-gene. He also assisted in the making of Cerebro.

He sucks if he is not with Beauty.

He is a beast at IQ tests

This guy is the king of Wakanda the most advanced city in the marvel universe and guess why because of Black Panther I don't think Iron man can say anything like that as a comeback. If you saw him in Captain America Civil War he was bad ass. He is totally smarter than Spidey he should definitely needs to be higher

This dude is wayyy smarter than spider-man,hulk,beast, Professor X,ant-man, except batman, reed Richards, dr.doom, iron man. This guy is the 8th smartest guy in marvel universe and their is a lot of very intelligent people in marvel come on man he is an inventor and he has a suit made out of vibranium and he is an amazing statigist one of the best in marvel alson and I also think that it is safe to say that he is smarter than batman but not iron man because sure batman is pretty smart but noway near black panthers and iron mans intelligence and I donÂ't even think spiderman should even be in the question he is smart for a high schooler but were are talking the smartest of all time and this dude has a PHD in almost everything and he is an inventor and this dude is also the richest person in Marvel and DC his net worth it self is 90.7 TRILLION enough said.

He used a sound weapon against Ullyses and ate a Wakandan heart shaped herb which gave him his abilities and intelligence.

Superman Superman is a comic character. And probably the first powerful superhero in the fictional world. The character was created by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster, high school students living in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1933. It was published by DC comics. The first animated superhero movie was superman. more.

Although the bat for sure is smarter, giving him a chance to fight against him, Superman is good at learning from his mistakes, or watching and learning from others. With this man of steal what lacks in strength makes up for intelligence.

He's been outsmarted so many times it's not even funny; consudering he's so much stronger than bat man how is it that he has been beat by him on so many occasions? Batman is smarter. A lot smarter. Fanboys stop voting for a hero for anything just because you like him

Superman is smarter than most give him credit for, but he is no where near as smart as Batman. People need to stop making baseless statements.

Superman is often shown to have flawless, eidetic Memory of everything he has ever seen, read, heard, or otherwise experienced.

The Contenders

Brainiac 5

He has TWELFTH level intelligence. Saying batman is smarter than him because he has legions of fans is like saying Nicki Minaj is a better singer than Susan Boyle because she's more popular.

'Brainiac 5 possesses a twelfth level intellect. By comparison, 31st century Earth as a whole is a ninth level intellect.'

No contest.

Is intelligent enough to figure out a cure for death.

Contest over, Brainiac wins!

Vegeta Vegeta is an anime fictional character from the anime series, Dragon Ball Z, created by Akira Toriyama.

The smartest make character in DBZ.

THE COOL DUDE FROM DBZ...He is strong and smart

Flash The Flash is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. His first appearance was in October 1956 and was created by Robert Kanigher. His main ability is super speed through the Speed Force and can run at speeds exceeding light.

The Flash's brain can process things at extreme speeds, which makes him able to counter enemy moves before they even get close to him. He can read books super fast, which enables him to learn lots of things in seconds. He once ran all of the people in a burning building out onto the sidewalk, ran to the library to read hundreds of books, and used what he learned from the books to rebuild the entire building - all in a few seconds. He's mostly only known for his speed, and he should get more recognition for his creativity and ingenuity.

Everyone knows Spider-Man is OP and the first superhero you learn about and stuff, but come on. He isn't smarter than the Flash. Captain America? There is literally nothing smart about him, and he is also such a stupid superhero. I'm Black and Everyone Loves Black Oanther, but he isn't smarter than the Flash. Here is how the list should go...
1-Iron Man
2-Light Yagami
4-Professor X
5- And maybe Spider-Man or Beast

he should be much higher! I mean the flash is a forensic SCIENTIST, while superman is a reporter. guess who's smarter. also, he can speed think

Flash is underrated when it comes to science and if I'm just clear I'm talking about Barry Allen not Wally west. He is basically the same as Spider-Man there about the same age who loved doing experiments and we're always straight A's

Bulma Bulma is a fictional character in the Dragon Ball manga series created by Akira Toriyama. Bulma is the most significant female character in the series.

She should be up there with Batman and Iron Man. She's a brilliant inventor and engineer. She build a time machine out of scrapes laying around her home while Androids were destroying her world. Brave and brilliant.

Goo bulma if she can fix radiz scooter a alien gadget she sould be up in at east 10th

Light Yagami Light Yagami is a fictional character and the protagonist of the manga series Death Note, created by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata.

He is the protagonist, but light cannot be potrayed as a man in good light. But yeah he is very intelligent and knows his ways.

Has horrific intro but a great series

Technically, he's not a superhero.

Smartest man on earth

Wolverine Wolverine is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly associated with the X-Men. His powers and abilities include a healing factor and his signature adamantium claws and adamantium skeleton.

He is immortal, and he has born hundreds of years ago world war one, and he is still alive, and he has traveled to all the countries. So, he knows all the languages, and he is the smartest person, and has a ton of GK!

He has very smart instinct, he's wise, strong and he's one of my favorite Marvel heroes.

He's wise, not sure about smart though...

He is not exactly smart I would say.

He was a World War II veteran and is known as the world's first superhero. The character was created by Jack Kirby and Joe Simon and more.

He is not really smart but smart enough. Batman, Iron Man, Red Robin, Nightwing, Spider Man, Robert Banner, Professor X, Beast, Flash, Nick Fury... they are all smart than him.

He has extremely enhanced Combat and strategy intellect. He also has an extremely fast-processing brain that he can make decisions hyper-fast

He may not be scientifically smart but he is stratigacly smart, like a true captain.
