Top 10 Snubs in the "NFL Top 100 Players of 2018" List

The NFL Top 100 is a yearly list broadcast by the NFL Network where current players vote on the best players in the league. Every year is filled with snubs and this year was no different. Here are ten players who should have made the list but did not.
The Top Ten
1 Alex Smith Alexander Douglas Smith is an American football quarterback for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League.

Alex Smith was an MVP candidate in the first half of the 2017 season until the Chiefs decided to go full-Reid once again. As an Eagles fan, I know this pain all too well. It doesn't make any logical sense why Smith didn't even make the list while guys like Case Keenum and Derek Carr did. He passed for a career-high 4,042 yards and 26 touchdowns with a league-leading 104.7 Passer Rating. The fact that he didn't even make the honorable mentions to the list should be seen as a complete joke.

This is why I don't really trust the NFL top 100.

2 Jason Kelce

There's no valid excuse why the best center in the league was left off the list. Jason Kelce earned First Team All-Pro honors in 2017, but was still left off. It shouldn't matter much to him, though. He loves having the unappreciated underdog mentality. Just look at his speech at our Super Bowl parade. He was already beloved by Eagles fans, but that moment made him a folk hero in Philadelphia forever.

The Eagles were still underdogs after the Super Bowl considering he didn't make the list.

3 Jordan Howard

Jordan Howard was left off the list for the second consecutive year despite rushing over 1,000 yards in each of his first two seasons. That is just ridiculous in my opinion. Carlos Hyde made the list despite rushing for less touchdowns and almost 200 less yards than Howard.

4 Ryan Kerrigan Patrick Ryan Kerrigan is an American football outside linebacker for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League.

Kerrigan was snubbed despite recording 13 sacks in 2017, tied for fourth most in the league. And coming from a fan of a division rival, he's very overlooked and very dangerous.

5 Brandon Graham

Brandon Graham continues to be one of the most underrated players in the league. He's an anchor on the Eagles defense who's good enough to play both the defensive end and linebacker positions. He also made one the clutchest plays in NFL history when he strip-sacked a seemingly unstoppable Tom Brady in Super Bowl LII.

6 Terrell Suggs Terrell Raymonn Suggs, nicknamed T-Sizzle or Sizzle, was an American football outside linebacker of the National Football League.

Potential future Hall of Famer T-Sizzle was left off the list despite recording 11 sacks on the year. He also started all 16 games at the age of 35. You have to respect that.

7 Alex Mack Javon Alexander "Alex" Mack is an American football center for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League.

Alex Mack has proven himself to be one of the best offensive lineman in the league for the past decade. But seeing as how the Top 100 is a player voted list and that it's difficult to properly measure a lineman's impact, much less-deserving skill-position players were put on instead.

8 Marvin Jones Jr. Marvin Lewis Jones Jr. is an American football wide receiver for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He played college football at California.

Marvin Jones had a phenomenal season in 2017 that seemingly went unnoticed by everyone except Lions fans. He had 1,101 receiving yards and 9 receiving TD's on the year.

9 JuJu Smith-Schuster

JuJu was the top rookie wide receiver in the 2017 season. He added more wealth to an filthy rich offense that already included Big Ben, Le'Veon Bell, and Antonio Brown. He also did the entire NFL world a favor when he knocked Vontaze Burfict on his ass in Week 13.

10 T.Y. Hilton Eugene Marquis commonly known in the NFL as ''T.Y Hilton'' Is an American wide receiver for the Indianapolis Colts. Hilton was drafted in the 3rd round ninety two overall to the Colts in 2012.
The Contenders
11 Malik Jackson

Malik Jackson established himself as one of the best defensive tackles in the league in 2017, and helped to bolster the Jaguars' defense which is quickly being ranked amongst the league's best.

12 Julius Peppers
13 Tre'Davious White
14 Carlos Dunlap Carlos Dunlap is an American football defensive end for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League.
15 Eric Weddle Eric Steven Weddle is an American football free safety for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League.
16 Brandin Cooks Brandin Cooks is an American football wide receiver and return specialist for the Houston Texans of the National Football League.
17 Deion Jones
18 Corey Davis

Corey Davis is an amazing player and he is one of Titans biggest receivers. He helped the titans beat the Eagles in Overtime. Plus he is very young so he will get better in the future

19 Baker Mayfield Baker Reagan Mayfield is an American football quarterback for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League.
