Best Song in the First 4 Metallica Albums
This song is about a soldier who lost his limbs in a war, can't see or speak, and the only thing he can do is ask people to kill him in Morse code. However a doctor uses him as a guinea pig instead. It's pretty depressing, but has some sick riffs and lyrics.
This is their best song in my opinion.
It's about a drug addiction and when you listen to the lyrics after learning that it makes a lot of sense. Song is kinda sad but at the same time is badass.
This is my favorite song by them. Has a bit of a sad beginning and sticks with the sad feeling and has the best guitar parts out of any Metallica song I've heard. The lyrics are about someone losing the will to live. Pretty sad but the lyrics are pretty good.
As long as this is number one. This list is number one in my books.

Arguably the best song on Master of Puppets
I prefer Fade To Black and One but this is for me hands down the best Thrash metal Metallica track, has soooo many cool riff, the mid part of the song is one of the best metallica moments for me, killer riff (better than the main riff) and one of the best Kirk solo, so awesome. But all of the rest of this song is also very good, I love this song. The best track on Master of Puppets.
