I love everything about Vanessa Carlton, and I love the fact that there are people out there who think that this was worthy of being a number-one hit. It's probably one of the best pop songs in history, and while Vanessa Carlton has taken a number of major steps forward since this song, she would have never been able to build her career without "A Thousand Miles. " It's simply a magnificent song, and I'm honored to see it at #3 on this list. Be sure to pick up a copy of her latest album, "Rabbits on the Run. " You won't be disappointed!
Awesome song with really nice lyrics. There's something different in this song which pleases the heart. Great Work!

international superhit that didn't top Billboard. Too bad, the song is awesome - Magnolia
I just don't understand why people would overlook this well-crafted song. From the nice piano solo to the strings. It also has a great rhythm, and good lyrics. I don't know how people miss this one.
One of the best and most memorable 80s songs! Can't believe it wasn't number 1. Americans have a weird taste
