The Contenders

11 Mowgli's Road - Marina and the Diamonds
12 Our Dying Republic - Sons of Liberty

Gave this a fair listen. The lyrics are vague and trite. Who's idea of freedom, liberty, or for that matter, fascism and tyranny are they promoting? Very nonspecific. Have far too many years' experience with the deceptions of doublespeak to not assume this is more of the same.

"Rise up! To define freedom
Rise up! To live in your own way
Rise up! To define freedom
Or will we let them take it away?
Liberty or tyranny?
It's your choice to make" - Metal_Treasure

13 Your Decision - Alice in Chains
14 Oh, the Guilt - Nirvana
15 I'm Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin' Song) - Brad Paisley

He's quite serious. You just don't get the American spirit. She gave him an ultimatum which required him to change who he is. Not about carousing and cheating, or drinking, or drugging - but about FISHING. Seems it's she who's not particularly serious.

His choice doesn't sound very serious - whether to go fishing or stay with her, the woman who's with him. I guess for many males this could be actually a hard choice. - Metal_Treasure
