The 2010s have been crazy and diverse years, with a wide range of popular songs. But which of the most popular songs are the best?

The Top Ten

Someone Like You - Adele Someone Like You - Adele Cover Art

Adele has been one of the most inspirational singers of the decade, and one of the best. She deserves all the praised she gets. In this instance she made one of her most personal and emotional ballads, very well produced (the piano is amazing).

Rolling in the Deep - Adele Rolling in the Deep - Adele Cover Art

Adele, only artist to have two songs here (original draft). Here she has one of her most epic songs, a very personal one, too, where she really showcases her vocal talent.

Love the Way You Lie - Eminem Love the Way You Lie - Eminem Cover Art

An amazing song which does an amazing job at representing toxic relationships, great rapping by Eminem and singing by Rihanna, very emotional and one of the best of the decade.

Best duet of the 2010s

Honestly not sure if I would call this the best duet including Rihanna but still really good.

See You Again - Wiz Khalifa See You Again - Wiz Khalifa Cover Art

Another very emotional song, probably the most emotional here, and probably the most touching topic on the list, the death of a loved one, whilst there are some amazing rivals, this is my pic for Number 1.

Some Nights - Fun. Some Nights - Fun. Cover Art

Now this song is amazing, it's one of the best examples of Pop done right, anthemic and yet really meaningfull, even using autotune to it's advantage. Sad this group was short-lived.

Heathens - Twenty One Pilots Heathens - Twenty One Pilots Cover Art
Hello - Adele Hello - Adele Cover Art
Royals - Lorde Royals - Lorde Cover Art

This song was super honest and aware of the problems with modern radio. Unfortunately, it seems to have resulted in just a reincarnation of bad radio music: slower, but no integrity. Still, this song I feel like deserves the spot.

Stay with Me - Sam Smith Stay with Me - Sam Smith Cover Art
Grenade - Bruno Mars Grenade - Bruno Mars Cover Art

The Newcomers

? Hotline Bling - Drake Hotline Bling - Drake Cover Art
? Havana - Camila Cabello Havana - Camila Cabello Cover Art

The Contenders

Somebody That I Used to Know - Gotye Somebody That I Used to Know - Gotye Cover Art

Glad to see this here great song also welcome back Martinglez you haven't been on in ages have you. (I am a fairly new user but I have seen lots of your lists before). Overall I agree mostly with this list Perfect is the only song that I don't really love and even then it is still decent.

Surprising hit, many people have praised it, and for good reason. Some of the best storytelling in pop music, showing both sides of the conflict in hand, whilst also being a catchy and well-produced tune. Sad that Gotye couldn't really match this.

Perfect - Ed Sheeran Perfect - Ed Sheeran Cover Art

Ed Sheeran, a divisive figure in pop music, and personally he's a hit or miss. This song is one of his most hated ones, but I honestly love it. It's a very touching and personal tune, one of Sheeran's best.

Uptown Funk - Mark Ronson Uptown Funk - Mark Ronson Cover Art

Bruno Mars has had a bunch of pretty good hits this decade, but I think many agree that this is the best one (even the list itself, since it'si Number 1 on it). With an amazing production, this catchy dance hit is an amazing throwback song, and deserves that Number 1 spot.

Need You Now - Lady Antebellum Need You Now - Lady Antebellum Cover Art

I'm glad this was the highest ranked country song.

Radioactive - Imagine Dragons Radioactive - Imagine Dragons Cover Art
Wake Me Up - Avicii Wake Me Up - Avicii Cover Art

It's really surprising how well Avicii manages to mold soul and country into an EDM song also Aloe Blacc was great on this. A side note this is the only song on the decade end 100 that did not peak in the top 3 others that came close include I Like It, Dj Got Us Falling In Love, Starships and What Makes You Beautiful.

Without Me - Halsey Without Me - Halsey Cover Art
Stronger - Kelly Clarkson Stronger - Kelly Clarkson Cover Art
Take Me to Church - Hozier Take Me to Church - Hozier Cover Art
Bad Guy - Billie Eilish Bad Guy - Billie Eilish Cover Art
Rude - Magic Rude - Magic Cover Art
Super Bass - Nicki Minaj Super Bass - Nicki Minaj Cover Art
Sucker - Jonas Brothers Sucker - Jonas Brothers Cover Art
Don't Let Me Down - The Chainsmokers Don't Let Me Down - The Chainsmokers Cover Art
Wrecking Ball - Miley Cyrus Wrecking Ball - Miley Cyrus Cover Art

Whilst I wasn't a huge fan of those Miley years, this amazing ballad is producede incredibly, the lyrics are touching and meaningfull and her voice is nice.
