Amazing acoustic guitar intro. It is probsbly the best intro ever besides the intro of Battery by Metallica.

In my opinion, Time What IS Time is the best song on the album. But this, THIS can't be described how awesome it is (just like most of Blind Guardian songs). The riffs, the drumming, the vocals, and especially the lyrics. They are all so awesome

It's about the death of Hansi's father. Hansi recorded this album at 25, seems he lost his father pretty early.

Why I needed so much time to appreciate this song? It's just amazing. Also, it came out in 1992 and might be the 2nd symphonic metal song in metal history, after Eyes Of The World by Rainbow (1979).
There are 4 versions of this song, every next is with more symphonic metal elements:
1) 1992, official album version
2) 1992, bonus version to the same album, aka 'Theatre of Pain (Classic version)'
3) 1996, Theatre Of Pain (Orchestral Version). It's an instrumental and is on the album The Forgotten Tales
4) it's a demo version of 1991-1992, which is with least symphonic elements but still has them.

Currently my favorite Blind Guardian song after lending ear to their four albums...Both the versions that I've listened to are excellent but the Orchester Version is my absolute favorite...
