Top Ten Songs by Nicki Minaj, Blood on the Dance Floor and Insane Clown Posse that are Much Better Than Their Reputation

Martin_Canine
Propably the most hated artists on this site here, but also they have some decent songs. Sure, there are Nickelback and Justin Bieber who also get much hate, but Nickelback seems to recover slowly and several people seem to aknowledge that Bieber's albums since puberty change aren't as bad.

The Top Ten

1 Halls of Illusion - Insane Clown Posse

This is a song in which two violent prone men get to experience what their life could have been like if they were nice and good-hearted (his kids have fine jobs, his wife is happy,...), then they show him what really happened instead (his children are on drugs, his wife has no teeth in her mouth because he hit her face so often,...), then Insane Clown Posse take them to hell. - Martin_Canine

2 Grand Piano - Nicki Minaj

This is simply a beautiful and well performed ballad that shows that Nicki actually has a great singing voice. - Martin_Canine

3 Where's My Wonderland - Blood on the Dance Floor

This dark fantasy song is a twisted mix of electronica and rock, with electric guitars playing over dubstep-inspired beats while the two singers perform a melodious tune. - Martin_Canine

4 Under the Moon - Insane Clown Posse

Tells the story of a misfit that finally finds someone who loves him, and everything seems fine to him, but then she tells him somebody tried to rape her. When she tells him who it was, he kills him and is sent to prison. Despite the girl saying to him they will always be together, he never hears from her again and turns insane in his cell.
What is left open for interpretation is if she ever loved him and if she actually was raped after all, or if she just found a gullible outsider to get rid of someone (maybe it was her ex-boyfriend or someone who impregnated her so she could get rid of the witness, but this is only speculation). - Martin_Canine

5 Unforgiven - Blood on the Dance Floor

This is simply an extremely catchy electro-pop song with an earworm chorus and perfect production. - Martin_Canine

6 All Things Go - Nicki Minaj

This is an autobiographical song that showd that behind all that sex vixen thing Minaj often portrays, there is actually a vulnetable woman. - Martin_Canine

7 The Tower - Insane Clown Posse

It tells the story of a war veteran who runs amok because after his service he feels useless and unloved. - Martin_Canine

8 I Am Not in Love Anymore - Blood on the Dance Floor

Like "Unforgiven", this is just a well produced heartbreak pop song with an extremely powerful chorus. - Martin_Canine

9 Suicide Hotline - Insane Clown Posse

The title pretty much says it all. This song portrays a phone call to a suicide hotline, but while Violent J's character actually tells his story, the guy on the hotline just tells him standard phrase.
The audio sample here is a remix that sounds way too upbeat and happy for the lyrics, the original album version is much darker in tone. - Martin_Canine

10 Marilyn Monroe - Nicki Minaj

The Contenders

11 Pills N Potions - Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj on a disappointing relationship in the past. The overall package is just fitting and the entire bleak sound makes her lyrics believable. - Martin_Canine

12 Where's God? - Insane Clown Posse
13 How - Insane Clown Posse
