Ensiferum is the self-titled debut album of the folk metal band Ensiferum, released on January 7, 2001. It is often considered their best album along with their second album Iron.

This song probably has my favorite chorus in an Ensiferum song, I really love this entire song.

2 Hero in a Dream

The first song of this album after the intro piece (aptly titled Intro), it's a great fantasy-themed track.

3 Token of Time

One of the most fun sounding metal songs I have ever heard and definitely one of the best of Ensiferum.

4 Windrider

One of the first Ensiferum songs I heard and remains a song that I really like.

5 Treacherous Gods

My favourite song on the album, I love the clean sections here, as well as the main riff.

Really great song, definitely one of the more underrated tracks from this album.

6 Old Man (Väinämöinen)

A pretty good song overall, I love the section that starts at around the 3 minute mark.
