Best Songs Featuring a Fender Stratocaster
The Fender Stratocaster is one of the most popular guitars in history. Unsurprisingly, this list could get out of hand really quick. The items on this list only make life harder. I keep switching favourites! One of surf rock's best instrumentals was played on a left handed Strat with the strings upside down.
If it wasn't for Hank Marvin and this song, most British guitarists wouldn't have picked up the Stratocaster.
Featuring two Strat players! Nile Rodgers (on rhythm) and Stevie Ray Vaughan (on lead).
Although John Lennon and George Harrison are more commonly associated with Gretsch and Rickenbacker guitars, the lead guitar parts for Nowhere Man were played by John and George on two identical Stratocasters, one doubling the other.
Ritchie Valens is commonly known for playing a Fender Stratocaster.
