Hordes of Chaos is the 12th studio album by Kreator. It was recorded at Titonous Studios in Germany and was released on January 13th, 2009.

This album is described as their most organic album because barring vocals guitar solos and some melodies the album is recorded in a live setting on a analog tape recorder with few overdubs. Frontman Mille Petrozza noted that this was the first time they have recorded a album this was since Pleasure to Kill from 1986. This was the first Kreator album to chart in the United States, debuting at number 165 on the Billboard 200 chart in the US, with first week sales of approximately 2,800 copies.
