The Top Ten

1 Wheel of Time - Blind Guardian

When I first heard this I was in shock... at how Amazing this was - christangrant

My jaw dropped when I first heard this song... - Metal_Treasure

The very first Blind Guardian song I heard. It was so amazing and epic that I started listening to more. The song And Then There Was Silence is one of my favorite songs EVER! My other favorites by Blind Guardian are The Bard’s Song: In the Forest, Sacred Worlds, and Age of False Innocence. - PhoenixAura81

@Say10 - not only the intro, everything. Composition, instrumental performance and the vocals, especially at 7:00-7:10 ("ah ah ah ah"), which sounds as if a female (soprano) sang it and not a baritone metal singer. Even though I knew Hansi can do everything with his voice and morph it like nobody else, this really surprised me. - Metal_Treasure

Imagine the following:

There is this new (German) band everyone talks about at the moment. You remember that two of the three members originally were well known YouTubers, but also that they deleted all their content. Most YouTubers-turned-musiciams get immediately panned, but not them, so there must be something special about them, right?. Their first hit is "Hydra 3D", which has an expensive music video set in a spaceship. The sound remotely resembles hip hop, but even more 90s electronica. And yeah, despite the Autotune, their raps are nice and awesome, and they actually criticize superficiality of modern day music, but in a light-hearted and easy going way. "Yeah that's cool" I thought and listened to all of the album. The first 4 tracks (including "Hydra 3D") are just what the single suggested: an experimental electronica/hip hop mix (what would later be called cyber rap or cyber hip hop, and their counterculture became cyber hippie) that ...more - Martin_Canine
