Top Ten Songs That Overshadow Their Artist

What I mean by overshadowed is that it is one song that will often be the only song some people might know by the band, when in reality there are many as decent or better songs.
The Top Ten
1 Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin
2 Smoke On the Water - Deep Purple
3 Hotel California - Eagles
4 (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction - The Rolling Stones
5 Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen

I'm a Queen fan and I still think that this is their best song.

6 Light My Fire - The Doors
7 Yesterday - The Beatles

Disagree here the Beatles wrote a bunch of songs that are all on the same level of fame such as Hey Jude, I Want to Hold Your Hand etc. Honestly I would say it is one of the few bands that no one really knows what their signature song is.

I think "Hey Jude" is more appropriate for this. While "Yesterday" is the most covered song, I still think "Hey Jude" is the more popular one.

Hey Jude is their most popular song, but then again none Beatles song overshadow the band

8 My Generation - The Who

All the bands on the original remix are famous enough that a lot of people would know another song.

9 Blowin' In the Wind - Bob Dylan
10 Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana

Honestly should be much higher. I like the song, but it isn't their best.

The Contenders
11 Purple Haze - Jimi Hendrix
12 Toy Soldiers - Martika
13 Enter Sandman - Metallica
14 Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd
15 Song 2 - Blur
16 Stressed Out - Twenty One Pilots
