Best Songs From Radiohead's Amnesiac

A list of the best songs from the prestigious Amnesiac album of the alternative geniuses, Radiohead!
The Top Ten
1 Pyramid Song

Aah, I don't know what to say about this one, just hear this one while sleeping, and the piano will sing you a mysteriously beautiful lullaby. This song kicks ass!

2 I Might Be Wrong

A superb song with such an amazing guitar tune! The beats are splendid, and Yorke's vocals are no less.

I know everybody loves Pyramid Song but this one is almost as good yet a bit different.

3 Knives Out

I just love how the guitars mix together to form a confusing yet wonderful melody, which is possibly the best thing about this song.

The scariest song of the album, and the one with the best intro! The guitar... The vocals... The eerieness!

4 Life in a Glasshouse

Starts off as some 1950 LA Noire stuff and ends as some zoom-out climax.

What? This is on the bottom? WHAT?

Jazzy with a great climax.

5 You and Whose Army?

Starting of rather slowly, I got pretty bored of this song and was about to switch it off, when that indescribable piano-beat -vocal ending knocked me out.

Peaky Blinders

6 Like Spinning Plates

This song... I don't know what it is, but it's such a captivating and great listen. The melodies on this song are some of the weirdest, yet most beautiful things Radiohead has ever written. Although the backwards vocals in the beginning strike me as Radiohead trying way to hard to be artistic and come off as slightly pretentious. The flow from Hunting Bears into this song to the next is also a big reason why this song is so great. This song and Life In A Glass House are the reasons why Amnesiac appears at my number five spot on the best Radiohead albums. It may not be the most "accessible" Radiohead song, but in my opinion one of their best.

To think that this song was written backwards, and it still is so good! The dynamic wa-wa-waa of the tune and Yorke's magic gives this song something special, apart from the backwards part.

This song blew me away at first listen. One of their most underrated and beautiful songs.

7 Dollars & Cents

A wonderful song with one of the best openings, it doesn't deserve to be 6th, but at times it sounds boring and repetitive and the others spark up more. Still, an amazing track!

8 Packt Like Sardines in a Crushed Tin Box

An underrated, catchy song which is pretty good and listen-worthy.

A great opener

9 Pulk / Pull Revolving Doors

What is this song? First my ears feel almost like they are being attacked by the beat. The synth has a creepy feel to it, but with the occational break ups and the synth from pyramid song, there is a strange serenity to this song. Then there are the lyrics, which I don't understand why they are about doors. All together, a confusing song, yet I feel confusion is what amnesiac is about.

The most underrated song of the album; such intense and catchy beats with a creepy synth background. The vocals talk about different doors (? ).

10 Morning Bell / Amnesiac

A great predecessor of Morning Bell from Kid A. Get dizzied by its eerie beauty!
