The Top Ten
1 Spotlight Kid

Over 10 metal bands (by far) ripped off the riff to this song - one can hear this riff even in metal songs released after 2000. Obviously this song is appreciated mostly by metal musicians because it was never popular and it's not even among the favorite songs of the Rainbow fans.

I cannot stop playing this! The riff is great, and the solo too. Recently started listening to post-Dio Rainbow. So glad I did.

2 I Surrender

It may be poppy and commercial, but I still can't help but love it. It's a very catchy song while having some really nice guitar work.

This is one of my favorite rock songs by Rainbow, it's also the band's highest charting single in the UK, reaching No. 3.

Eh, not my favorite. Ritchie did it for the label, and it's a bit poppy.

3 Difficult to Cure (Beethoven's Ninth)

A great Beethoven metal cover (instrumental) that was important for the emergence of neo-classical metal.

The live version of this song is amazing.

Neoclassical Music in 3 words!

4 Vielleicht das Nachste Mal (Maybe Next Time)

A very beautiful soft instrumental.

5 Midtown Tunnel Vision
6 Can't Happen Here
7 Freedom Fighter
8 No Release
9 Magic

This is the poppiest song on the album and my least favorite one. I have always felt this song lacks something and not long ago I realized what's the problem: this song wasn't written by Ritchie Blackmore or a Rainbow band member.
