These to songs sound nothing alike. just because they are both grunge sonngs doesn't make them immediatley sound the same!
Would feels like heavy metal, Smells like teen spirit is pure grunge.
Would is driven by bass, smells like teen spirit is driven by a guitar riff.
Would's choras is short, smells like teen spirit has a rather long choras
The drum parts in each song are quite differnet (and so are the drummers).
The guitar rhythm maybe. But that's about it.
