Top 10 Songs on Septicflesh's Codex Omega

Septicflesh have been nicknamed "the Gods of orchestral extreme metal" - they play Atmospheric/Symphonic Death Metal. Some Septicflesh songs include short sections with clean vocals.

Septicflesh are from Greece, formed in 1990.

Lyrical themes: Fantasy, Mythology, Occultism, H.P. Lovecraft

Codex Omega is their 10th album and came out in Sept 2017 - a metal album with no bad songs. Every member did a great job, songs are very well written, symphonic orchestration is perfectly composed and executed, and even the cover art is very good.
And yes, mixing and mastering are almost perfect, too - it's not easy to mix successfully elements from extreme metal and classical symphonic (Jens Bogren from Sweden).

The Top Ten
1 Dante's Inferno

It was difficult to put the songs in a particular order because they are all great - I would give this album a 10/10 (I rarely give 10/10).

2 Dark Art
3 Faceless Queen
4 3rd Testament (Codex Omega)
5 The Gospels of Fear
6 Enemy of Truth
7 Portrait of a Headless Man

This song is slower than the average of this album (there's an official video clip to this song)

8 Martyr

There's an official video clip to this song

9 Trinity
10 Our Church, Below the Sea

This song is softer and has more clean vox than their songs usually have but it's very good. What can I say? Even the song at #10 is absolutely awesome. And even the bonus tracks are...
Great gob, Septicflesh!

The Contenders
11 Martyr of Truth

Amazing bonus track

12 Dark Testament

Bonus track from CD2

13 Portrait of a Headless Man (Orchestral Version)
