Haha he really is unique. But I think that's the whole point of his voice sounding like this - it fits the song. He sounds completely inebriated with every song though; 'specially Just Like a Woman. He always sounds like he's slumped against a urine-stained lamppost, slurring his woes.

The song title was supposed to be "In the Garden of Eden" but singer Doug Ingle was very drunk and he was slurring the words so badly that drummer Ron Bushy interpreted the chorus and title as "In-A-Gadda-the-Vida".
Singer Doug Ingle wrote the song one evening while drinking an entire gallon of red mountain wine.
The last half, he's rapping as drunk and it's fantastic the atmosphere he brings.
