Slide It In is Whitesnake's 6th studio album released in 1984.
It was produced, engineered and mixed by the legendary Martin Birch.

The lineup was interesting:
- two Deep Purple members (ex-Deep Purple singer David Coverdale and keyboardist Jon Lord);
- an ex-Rainbow member (drummer Cozy Powell);
- a Thin Lizzy member (guitarist John Sykes who was also in Tygers of Pan Tang, a band of New Wave of British Heavy Metal).
