Top Ten Songs That Will Give You a Headache

Now by this, I'm not talking about horrible songs. No, the list would go on forever. By "giving you a headache" I mean that the song really makes you think. It may contain a philosophical message in the lyrics, have a double meaning, etc. What are some songs that give you a headache thinking about them?
The Top Ten
1 Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin

The lyrics are very hard to decipher, and even if you do manage to decipher them, there are many possible messages that you could comprehend. Overall, this song will make your head spin countless amount of times.

2 Hallowed Be Thy Name - Iron Maiden

This song talks about a prisoner who is getting ready to be executed. He then questions God's very existence, and asks why would he abandon him? But before he gets executed, he turns back to God and says that, "I am not afraid of dying! " But, this is not mentioned in the song, you must realize that in almost EVERYONE'S life, they question the existence of a God more than once. So, seeing how easily he pushed God aside, wouldn't it make sense that before he was executed, he questioned God's existence AGAIN? So, where did he go to after his execution? Heaven, Hell, The Void, Nirvana, Reincarnated, etc. ? The world may never know...

3 Imagine - John Lennon

Now when John sings, "Imagine there's no heaven..." Lets take a moment to talk about that. If there WAS no heaven, what would the world be like? There are two possibilities. One, the world would be outstanding, people from all around the world uniting with each other. Two, the thought of no heaven would create a fear, a fear about death. So everyone would basically be locked in their house 24/7, afraid of dying and the afterlife. Basically, it would be like that SpongeBob episode with the Gorilla.

Now for the line, "Imagine there's no countries..." Again, there are two possible outcomes. One, under this "New World Order", the "King of the World" is a kind, smart man, and the world would, for a long time, be at peace. Or the leader would be the next Stalin or Hitler, and the world would fall in turmoil.

Lastly, "Imagine no possessions..." One, there would be no more theft, murder, etc. Two, everyone would live in poverty. Very great song, but it will give you a splitting ...more

4 Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen

Some people believe that when Freddie Mercury wrote the song, he knew that he was close to dying. Could this be true!?!?!?

5 Expectations - Three Days Grace

The line, "Expectations go to Hell..." Is what I am talking about. If Expectations were thrown out the window, one of two things would happen. One, the world would be a much better place because people could just slack off and actually enjoy life. Or two, everyone would just slack off, and while they would enjoy life, nothing would get done, and most people would not survive. Think about that next time you hear this song on the radio.

6 Strawberry Fields Forever - The Beatles

At the end of the song, John whispers either one or two things. One, "Cranberry Sauce" or two, "I buried Paul." Which do YOU believe that he said? Is Paul really dead? Or is the whole theory nonsense?

At the end of the song, John Lennon says, "I'm very bored." He said nothing about Paul being dead or cranberry sauce.

7 Dumb - Nirvana

The song is, don't get me wrong, a fantastic song, but it barely makes sense. What could the meaning of this song possibly be?

8 In Bloom - Nirvana

Very unusual and unique. I like it.

9 Baby - Justin Bieber

Any Justin Bieber song gives me a headache. It makes me wonder why in the hell anybody would listen to this.

I'm gonna be honest. I'd rather listen to this song than go through 7 hours of Nicki Minaj's Stupid Hoe.

Ok, had to break my own rule for this one. Why did he write this song? The thought gives me... A headache!

Any song of his gives me a headache. How can people actually like him.

10 City of Orphans - The Classic Crime

You can interpret this song in many ways.

The Contenders
11 Stupid Hoe - Nicki Minaj

"THIS WHOLE SONG IS LIKE A BEATING ON YOUR CHILD'S BRAINS! If I was diagnosed with a terminal illness and the only cure for it was listening to this song, I'D SAY GIVE ME ANOTHER TERMINAL ILLNESS JUST SO I CAN DIE FASTER! "-Nostalgia Critic

Disclaimer: He was reviewing a movie. Not a song.

Not only a headache, but also migraines, seizures, haemorrhages, and wanting to shoot either yourself, the radio, or Nicki.

I give up. I seriously give up one humanity.

This song shouldn't exist at all.

12 Friday - Rebecca Black

This song is basically about JFK.

13 Lollipop - Lil Wayne
14 Caillou Theme Song - Caillou
15 Black Hole Sun - Soundgarden

A great song written by Chris Cornell but there are too many interpretations of the lyrics. Commenting upon how the song was misinterpreted as being positive, Cornell said, "No one seems to get this, but "Black Hole Sun" is sad. But because the melody is really pretty, everyone thinks it's almost chipper, which is ridiculous."

He also said "It's just sort of a surreal dreamscape, a weird, play-with-the-title kind of song [...] just playing with words for words' sake [...] that song pretty much had no identifiable lyric idea [...]

I sure didn't have an understanding of it after I wrote it. I was just sucked in by the music and I was painting a picture with the lyrics. There was no real idea to get across."

OK, if the author didn't have an understanding of it after he wrote it, what to say about the listeners?

16 Lavender Town - Pokémon

It definitely have me a headache

17 I Won't See You Tonight, Part 2 - Avenged Sevenfold
18 Save the Best for Last - Vanessa Williams

Heard in Kate & Leopold (2001) after Leopold (Hugh Jackman) fell off a unstable platform while trying to recover a artifact stolen from him by some ex-boyfriend. Very much a romantic lovesong.

19 One-X - Three Days Grace

I'm the person who put this on the list. don't get me wrong. I really love this song. it's one of my favorite songs of all time. I just don't know what adam meant by "i need to figure out who's behind me." was he talking about god or some other kind of supernatural being?

I don't understand what he meant by "i need to figure out who's behind me." was he talking about god or some other kind of supernatural being?

I don't understand what he meant by "i need to figure out who's behind me" was he talking about god or some other supernatural being?

I think he was talking about the evil, sadistic people out there who sometimes try to wish death upon you.

21 The Motto - Drake
22 Dora the Explorer Theme - Dora the Explorer
23 I Love You - Barney
